If you have seen Hindu temples in other countries then this one may well disappoint you.
Luckily its in town and on the way to other points of interest.
The photos tend to make it look bigger than it is.
Pop in but - 10 seconds was enough for me.

This was on my list of places I wanted to see in Victoria. The detailedness of the roof structure's figurines is amazing to see and study. It is a photographers dream to see this in person and I could not stop shooting enough photos. At night when the temple opens and you start hearing the "snake charmer" flutes playing. It add an interesting mystique to the area and of their religion.

BOTTOM LINE: Loved seeing this temple. It is really called the Sri Navasakthi Vinayager Temple. Personally, I HIGHLY RECOMMEND seeing this landmark in the community. Be prepared to be wowed with the all the detail you will see from the outside. Hat and shoes need to be removed when entering the temple. No cost to enter. MY RATING: 10/10.

It is only a block away from the Victoria fish & vegetable market.

We made a quick stop at the Temple while exploring Victoria. There wasn't too much to it to be honest.

This is a must see in the centre of Victoria. The level of detail on this building is amazing. It is so intricate and colourful. It was nice to see that the temple was in use and not just a tourist attraction. Visitors were welcomed. It is important to respect the temple and leave your shoes at the entrance.
