Nice outlook over the busy street so its great for people watching. I had the vanilla milk shake which was lovely and cold and very refreshing. Didin't eat there but the food looked good and I would be happy to try it again the next time

The vibe is awesome, very local theme and feel. Food good. try it when you are in Victoria. Locals and ex-pats alike adore the place.

Being a Victoria landmark it might be expected that the staff would show some warmth towards the customers. The food was decent, something that we seemed to battle to find on the island, it's just a pity that the staff, that we encountered at any rate, were unfriendly, unaccommodating and somewhat aloof. It's a very busy place at lunch time, maybe that had something to do with it, irrespective, it isn't unreasonable to expect the serving staff to relate to their customers with some "good vibes". Prices are reasonable, once again something that isn't common on the islands, the beers were cold, and watching life passing by is just great. Only a pity that the waiting staff aren't more in tune with the island vibe.

Make sure you try the red snapper a la sauce creole!!
On most nights they have live music.
The casino above the hotel is the most boring one I have ever visited!

During my recent visit in Victoria for one week from Sydney Australia i quickly noticed that this restaurant or cafe appears to be the place where most visitors & tourists choose to eat, this place always appears to be quite busy, the menu choice has a resonable selection of basic meals, nothing to flash with the cheap prices, the service from the staff was on a average scale & at times I sat for a good 10min's before any staff member approached me & gave me a menu. There is also 2 security staff & I found this to be unusal & when I started up a conversation with one of them & asked why 2 security staff are here? his answer was due to having many patrons walking outside for a smoke & walking away without paying their bill!. Many electric ceiling fans helping with the daily heat, overall I visited around 4-5 times during my week & the only real food place with a atmosphere & a crowd......... great place to eat if your on a tight budget & don't expect fancy service or large portions........ Happy travels!
