“Pity you cannot go inside”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed March 9, 2013

The view of this building from the street is quite spectacular, reminiscent of mansions of a bygone era.
Unfortunately that is where the view remains because entry to both the grounds and buildings is not allowed, so you'll have to make do with a mark past along the street.
It is really disappointing that such an impressive building can only be seen from behind iron gates. One can only imagine what the interior must be like, if the outside is any guide.

“nothing much”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed February 26, 2013

All you see is the outside.... beautiful in exterior but thats it the exterior. You are not allowed to go in and there is no shade around to sit and admire the building.
It feels like you are looking into a prison with all the gates and doors and windows shut.

“President's House”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 26, 2012

Looking at it, you can imagine the home or small palace of sultans and later presidents and feel the history. It's bright and just enough security in the gates and walls to signify its importance and the exclusivity of its position, but not so much as to make it look irreprochable. Part of any walking tour and good for a photograph.
