love the steak with the truffled mashed potato and cocktail... but the lobster was a bit tough. The soup and bread are nice as well

We stumbled on this place while strolling around KLCC. Both of us ordered a steak and agreed it was the best we've had in KL so far.

The ambiance is amazing. If you get a seat by the window, it overlooks the park behind the two towers. We could have sat there all night, relaxing and munching on delicious, well-priced Australian beef.

I booked the restaurant to celebrate my dad's 60th birthday but really, cant say i am satisfied. Food average, staff not very friendly, not worth paying 500 for.

1. Arrived, and nobody at the door, so i had to call 4-5 times to get staff's attention.
2. Seated, and waitresses were a bit scary. No smile and we had communication issues... Didnt feel comfortable at all.
3. Food served. Starters were good, beef tataki and lobster soup were nice. And one of their their signature dish, cod with risotto was good too. Not really remarkable tho. And the steak .... Well i know better places to eat.
4. I pre-ordered special dessert for my father but apparently my order didnt get through... I had only one cake served with no message i asked on it. And the icecream toppings on chocolate lava cake fell down as soon as its served. And the cake tasted ok but cant really say good.

I asked what happened to other dessert because we got new forks and spoons so naturally i thought they were coming. But untill all the icecream melt, nope. Nothing happened. I had to ask and my surprise was ruined. We had dessert served for free afterwards but i was pretty upset.

The lady in suit(manager perhaps) was nice and friendly but it was really not the kind of place i would visit again.

Thank Claire K

It doesn't matter that the food was good, music and ambiance was great. When a waitress comes to serve you with a mouthful and is clearly not in the mood to be working or serving you, the whole experience goes to sh@ts.

If you looking for a nice beef restaurant this is a good pick. We had the Gobo Signature dishes and it came just as we wanted them. Desert Menu is also nice. Decent prices on the wine list (compared to Norway). They provide baby chair and kids menu.

We had a very nice evening and the service was impeccable! It is maybe a bit pricey compared to other restaurants in KL, but it's worth every penny!
