Was there for a wedding dinner, food was below average.....drinks was slow to replenished and being too sweet is understated......location and ambiance was good....eventually got too packed and we left to have dinner again elsewhere......

“hidden gem but needs maintenance”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 7, 2013

I was a frequent diner at Rahsia back in the 2009's, then due to busy schedule, this restaurant has been forgotten until lately, i was there on 1st January 2013 for a little surprise for my girlfriend, i was a little disappointed when i walked in. The garden was shined by strong spot light instead of the little lanterns they used to have, we were greeted and escorted to the usual terrace spot, we then ordered their New Year's day 4-course set meal which cost RM75 per pax, to my surprise the food is still good and nicely presented. We ordered a glass of wine each and the total bill came up to only RM215. But i'm sure if its on an ordinary day, an ala carte menu wont cost you much unless if you ordered lamb shank which is about RM48

All in all, the restaurant needs maintenance and should make the place cosier since its supposed to be a 'romantic' restaurant. Conclusion if you like privacy and wants to stare at each other eyes without disturbance, this is definitely a good place.

Also i got to compliment their restaurant manager Mr Jahan for being so attentive and helpful throughout these years.

“Nice to see but lousy food!”
2 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 10, 2012

I had buffet dinner there recently.
The sliced beef was like eating tyre rubber. I could not chew properly them. I had to spit it out. I believe it was a bad cut or cheap parts of the cow and did not tenderize enough. Fish dishes was on the soggy side. Overall the food was nothing to shout about. Anyway, stay away if you want good food. For drinks and nice quiet place to chill out. Decor was nice. Staff quality also below par for a European restaurant.

“This is KL's best kept secret”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed December 27, 2010

We have been to this restaurant three times, and each time they have delighted: The food is beautiful (try the secret duck or lamb shank!!)....wonderfully presented and full of flavour. The atmosphere is serene...candle lit and romantic. The service is charming, attentive, not rushed but discrete. We will return for more (and more!).
