I was at La bodega at pavilion mall. I have been to several times to this outlet and decided to put my comment here. The atmosphere is fine and I trust the owner can do better to make it more authentic. However, service is very attentive.
Food, we ordered an olive tapenade with bread (baguette) and seafood paella with saffron. Olive tapenade has strong favour by itself and no surprised by the dish, the baguette is way too soft on the skin with plain flour taste. Paella has the taste but the rice has cooked way too saggy.
Beverages, bar tender definitely need improvement or the owner shall decide to remove cocktail from the list. we had sangria, mojito and margarita, these are very basic cocktail at most bars and yet it is disappointed on the taste, choice of liquor mixer and right glass to use (have to highlight on this as it is not served as RM10). Cocktail is the best choice for tropical weather besides beer, what a waste if not do it right to get the customer for revisit.
