“Not worth it. Go with caution.”
Reviewed December 19, 2012

It was my first time there with 5 other female friends. Out of 6 girls, 2 were admitted to hospital for acute gastroenteritis (AGE) and 1 was on MC for AGE as well after jogoya buffet. We went there for the ladies 50% promotion. The variety of food was excellent but seafood was not fresh except for sashimi and oysters. The highlight of the buffet is probably salmon and butterfish sashimi, oysters, haagen daaz and new zealand natural ice cream and fragrant coconut. Note here, there was a warning for customers: do not eat milky products after fresh oysters. Anything else like the fried and stir fried are just below standards. There are also free flow of red and white wine but seems like it was diluted with water. Food refilling was slow especially for fast moving items. So, we all ate the same food, including oysters and waited 1 hr after that to eat ice cream. The only difference was, the symptomatic 3 girls had white wine and the other 3 girls who had red wine were fine. Well, i've been to many japanese buffets (kampachi, zen, saisake, shogun, tao, yaki yaki, gonbei san) but i never had this problem after that. To see my friends experiencing such a horrible episode of vomitting and diarrhea, it was pretty scary. A friend told the girls that last month her boss bought them dinner there and 6 colleagues fell sick after that too. I can't tell for sure what caused them to have AGE but I probably won't go there anymore, knowing these stories. It was originally rm100 and after 50% discount, it was rm50++. To be honest, without the discount, it is definitely not worth the money.

“Nice Buffet in Kuala Lumpur”
Reviewed November 26, 2012

Everything are nice, but when promotion is ongoing, there is some negligence on food and environment. Food refilling is slow and less than the demand, and also the selection of food is lesser than normal day which means when there is no any promotion conducted. Btw, the overall of the products and services are ok, and can be acceptable :) Keep it on, JOGOYA! Hope this comment can lead u to the better performance :)

“Gastronomical delight with a price”
Reviewed October 29, 2012

The entrance fee for the dinner buffet goes up to about rm$100 per pax.
I was utterly overwhelmed when I walked around. There were cold stuff like sashimi, oysters, etc There was a counter for grilling and fried jap stuff. Even a soup counter where they had abalone and mushroom soup, if my memory didnt failed me.
The drinks counter spread was awesome, young coconuts but you need to be there when they replenish the fridge as the supply runs out quickly, a variety of soft drinks, a variety of juices and even a variety of teas and coffees for your selection pleasure.
The desert counters, it was counters, was bad to the tummy line. There was haagen daz ice creams selection but I chose to bypass that counters for the ordinary ice cream counters where they had my favourite flavour, rum and raisin. There was even a counter for pastries and jellies.
After gouging ourselves silly on the food, it was a good night to sleep.
