Visited 3 weeks ago with girl friend. The environment is romantic. Indo-chinese food is good, the service is good, especially the chef comes out to suggest good dish to us. Before we go, mosquito is what we worry about but we can't even discover any during dinner, may be we seat at higher place. There is another section call Mandi-mandi beside the pool, but there is no more water in the pool, looks dirty, what a waste! Another destroyer is rubbish in the jungle..

Overall the restaurant satisfy us. It costs RM260 for 2 persons, a bit expensive but still acceptable. Worth a try!

Went there to celebrate my Husband's Birthday and it was great.
Especially the waitress - who actually suggested to us on the menu and the cake slice.

I would come back again maybe with family/ friends. Thanks!

The moment we walked down towards the dining area, excitement was already creeping in as the ambiance, lighting & mood was simply romantic. As we arrived, the smiling staff handed us a refreshing (though small!) glass of tamarind juice. It was amazing! We had dinner, a delicious menu of crab cakes, prawns, beef, chicken, veggies all beautifully cooked. The crisp of the veggies were still there and the prawns was so sweet! The staff was waiting on us so it gave us quite a special feeling...

The only selling point of Tamarind Springs is the unique jungle luxe dining setting. Food quality has been going down hill over the years, and level of service was forgettable. The Italian kitchen (il tempio) is now closed, leaving behind the thai/malay and indochinese kitchens. Quality to price ratio there is pretty poor!
