I stayed a week here just recently.
Well provisioned- every thing I needed was there. You'd be surprised how sterile some of these are. This one is the kind you need to leave something behind in, as every one else did.
Great security, never even missed the lack of a safe. No one could get in there.
If you take the time to learn the surroundings there was great value there. The mall across the road even repairs clothes.
Nice little balcony faces away from the overdevelopment going on facing the other way.
Great view of downtown from the roof.
Convenience store and coffee shop in the lobby.
Power doesn't go off.
Excellent 43" 4K tv with many channels.
Washing machine AND soap
Every appliance imaginable. Even an electric hand mixer!
USB capable stereo
Shuttle to Petronas Tower
There are seven remotes on the coffee table and no immediate help, you'll be scratching your head!
You are not near the city or the LRT. I waked it five times. 40 minutes one way. If it rains, oh well! The LRT stops running at eleven downtown so you need a cab after that.
You're basically forced to use Uber to leave the property. There is nothing within reasonable walking distance.
Construction noise pretty much every day from the gross overdevelopment in the immediate neighborhood. It's not overwhelming. There are cranes to the horizon on the other face of the condo.
Pool is virtually unusable due to tons of kids. (think urine overload) large women fully dressed in black except for the eyes in the pool on a hot sweaty day (think human tea bag) I was looking forward to the pool for every afternoon, after three tries I wrote it off. No ear/ eye infectious for me, thanks.
Furniture is really not clean. I notified Ms. Puspa on checkout.
I don't know, I'd never do it again because of the location. I don't miss riding the train to the end of the Ampang line. The place is really very usable, but not if you want to be downtown. Plan accordingly. I'd recommend it but only if you understand what's up.
The location isn't ideal, we had to walk far to the nearest shops or get Uber or taxis. The apartment didn't supply the right amount of towels (there were three of us) and one of the AC was licking. Overall I give three stars!
Our experience in this condo is really awesome. Good facilities from the room itself to the condo amenities, we sure will come again one day!
It's been a pleasant experience staying at The Elements, Jln. Ampang. Eric (the owner) responded promptly to all my queries and did his best to accommodate my family and I throughout our stay. The apartment is new and comes equipped with the basic necessities for a comfortable stay. However, the unit only has one double bed and extra guests would have to make use of thin mattresses laid directly on the floor. This might not suit everyone, particularly fussy sleepers.
The apartment building is about 4 km from the city centre) but the closest LRT station (Jelatek) is not within easy walking distance, especially in a hot and humid weather. Hence, having a car is definitely a big plus if you choose to stay here. Otherwise, a taxi to KL Sentral costs about RM15 (depending on the traffic). Pro: Accommodation is very good value for money. Con: Public transportation link is currently underdeveloped in this area.
