this place is fantastic- i stayed there one night but wished i could have stayed more, so booked a night for my return one night stay in kl as well.

it's very homely and relaxed, the staff are all extremely friendly, and they're good, caring people. at the time i was there they took a pregnant cat off the street and helped her give birth in their house, and were taking care of her and the kittens, and taking them to the vet. they also have an in-house cat named speedy, who is one of the best cats i've ever met.

on my way back i was really ill and they were really lovely and took good care of me, which is treatment you don't often find at hostels where you're paying next to nothing.

strongly recommended!

I had a great stay in Red Palm, the staff were very friendly, free 1 hour wifi, and it was very clean. I stayed in a loft room with aircon and it was really good. It's in a great location too. If i went back to KL i would def be heading to Red Palm again.

Our first stay at Red Palm was so great, we ended up staying on two other occasions during our trip. Sophie and the gang were such fantastic hosts, who helped us arrange transportation to and from the airport on numerous occasions. Location is pretty central and within walking distance to most attractions. Shared rooms and bathrooms were clean, extremely cheap and very comfortable. The environment was safe for any type of traveller and very easy to meet other travellers and share stories. Great stay and would definitely stay again!

Stayed here in june for couple of days. The twin room was allright, it shared the ceiling with other rooms so it can be a bit noisy.
The atmosphere of the place is great and really makes you feel like home. The location is great as well, walking distance from bukit bintang monorail and the bus terminal (can't remember the name).
Staff is friendly and helpfull as well.
