The service is a complete let down at this hotel.
I have never taken so long to be checked into any hotel, anywhere, ever.
The trainee was not well assisted by more experienced staff and requested a $700 bond on arrival for incidentals. Needless to say... No!
At no stage did staff offer to assist with luggage.
One of the two rooms requested was not made up in the style asked for of two single beds for work colleagues travelling together and it took 24 hours to split the bed. Really?
Good location, Close to Pavillions and Skybridge to KLCC but won't be back.

This is part of our company policy which is refundable upon check-out.
Rest assured our dedicated team of Concierge and Front Office personnel work really hard around the clock to ensure your stay is as comfortable as possible.

Third stay, and I think it's going down.

Pros:
1. Location, can't beat that it's between Bukit Bintang and KLCC.
2. Huge size of rooms.
3. Has everything you need around it.
4. In KL, it is really non-smoking. Well done.

Cons:
1. They have this promotion of either a food voucher or a spa voucher. Checking in, I have asked for a food voucher, for them, they decide to give me a spa voucher. I have never though that it is upto them to decide on this.

Staff being unhelpful, just said, it's a management decision to just give all guests a spa voucher. Very disappointing.

Was told I'll be called by the Manager. None.
2. Dated rooms. Very plain and basic for a 'Premier' Room.
3. They should start thinking what to do with the breakfast. Too packed.

Thank you for your feedback on your third hotel stay with us.
We are glad to know you highlighted the location and comfort of the room as some of your pros but concerned about the cons that you experienced.
Firstly my Team and I are sorry about the confusion regarding the complimentary food/spa voucher which is part of the Great Price Great Location (GPGL) promotion. Individual hotels under the Accor group get to decide on either food or spa vouchers to be given to Hotel Guests who book the GPGL promotion. At Novotel KL City Centre guests are entitled a complimentary spa voucher which can be redeemed at our spa centre on level 4. We definitely do not mean to cause you any inconvenience, and hope you were able to take this opportunity to enjoy this offer while you were here. Your other two comments on the room interior and breakfast area have been shared with the Management to better improve ourselves.

Booked a 1 night stay through the Accorhotels.com. We arrived late at the hotel.

Location :- The hotel is right near the city centre and still within the Golden Triangle. Very near to Shopping places like KLCC and Pavillion.

Check-in :- Upon arriving, it was already disappointing. Despite having heavy bags along, no staffs offered to take our bags not to mention open the cabs door for us. Even after going up the stairs and heading for the reception, no assistance were given despite a few staffs were walking back and forth. Maybe they thought we were in the lobby for the air conditioning =-P. Checkin was quick since it was precharged to my CC but surprisingly, even though it was booked through the same manner I booked Sofitel’s, they did not capture my Accor Club membership number (or at least it was not stated in my check-in papers), and since I we were too tired and frustrated to ask, we just ignored it. Even after checking in at the reception, the staffs just stood there and walked back and forth without offering any assistance for our luggage. A big disappointment especially after having such a wonderful experience with Sofitel’s in Cambodia right before that.

Lobby :- The lobby was simple yet clean.

Room :- We were given a room on the 22nd floor, with just a view of neighbouring buildings. Again the disappointment kicks in, we requested a king or queen bed, but what was given was a single bed combined to make it a bigger size. And the joining could felt obviously by the very thin bed lining.

Bathroom :- The bathroom was clean with quite a good range of amenities. No robes were provided though.

View :- We could see the peak of KLCC and the famous Traders Hotel Sky Bar from our room plus the buildings facing us.

Food :- Breakfast at the café was considerably OK. Simple yet quite good quality of food. It took some time for the waitress to offer us coffee though.

Remarks :- Nothing much to brag about this hotel except for the fact the location is very convenient if you plan to tour around Kuala Lumpur. But if you expect superb staff service like Sofitel’s (even though they are within the Accorhotel group), you’ll be put to frustration I guess.

p/s :- A good place to just have some sleep after a days tour I guess

Front desk provided a very good service when we checked in. On the 2nd day of our stay , the hotel encountered a problem with flooding in a couple of floors, and we were relocated to another room. Excellent communication but only one flaw, was promised a basket of fruit for the inconvenience but nothing arrived. Maybe will be delivered to Sydney. Overall a very good experience. staff very courteous and helpful esp.Shamsul and the front desk. Well Done. Will come back
