We check out from V Garden Hotel which is excellent for $34 and i spent a night at Gleneagles hospital after GreenLightSurgery on my bladder and thought a good 2 nights stay at a 5 star would be nice...arrived at 11 am and they let us into the room 3 hours earlier and even offered late check out at 2 for free and our room 2201 with view to Petronas Tower. From Traders you can just use the free buggy to Suria Mall or walk in air conditioned walk way.
I stayed at Novotel 5 years ago but Traders are more Convenient......if you a few dollars more to spend or planning a romantic get away with your love one ( i am with my son ) then Grand Hyatt .

Room Tip: If planning a week stay at KL..spread your $ ..... Like I did....3 nights at V Garden then 2 nights at Traders all up only $ 77 per night with 5 star ending

Stayed for two nights, get a Petronas Towers view room, the view is spectacular! Service was excellent, efficient and clean and the breakfast was good albeit a little pricey. Overall excellent place; will return for sure and next time take more advantage of that brilliant sky pool and sky bar!

Dear Lord_Lucky

Thank you for taking the time to review us on TripAdvisor.

A suggestion that might help you on your next stay with us, do book our Best Available Rate with Breakfast as it does save you a few good pennies or you might want to lux it out and spoil yourselves with a Traders Club Twin Towers View Room which gives you free daily breakfast, afternoon tea and evening cocktails. Happy to know that all of you had a great stay with us.

Thank you once again for your feedback.

Kind Regards

Traders Hotel is always my to-go place whenever I go to KL for business trip. I've been staying here 4-5 times since mid 2013 - usually in Deluxe twin tower view. The strategic location in KLCC is definitely a plus point- there's a buggy service to take you to Suria mall til 10 - 10.30 pm. Anyhow, walking to Suria is also nice since you get to cross the park.

Room & Service: The service is consistently effective and efficient. I never have to go for more than 5-7 mins check in and check out process - all is very efficient. The room provides relaxing ambient - good to unwind after long day at the office. I've never experience any issue with the cleanliness and hygiene of the room and bathroom. The only minor glitch I've experienced was when they upgraded me into the suite and the shower drainage didn't work quite well - but it was not a big issue.

Food: On breakfast, they have quite wide selection , even the gluten free food. I love the to-go smoothies that they made - and the variety is great as well. The room service food is also not bad if you're too tired to go out for dinner. Their SkyBar is awesome place to socialize , and for an afternoon swim and relax as well. Gobo upstair's steak is quite fine as well, a tad pricey for the quality though..

So far I haven't tried the spa and fitness centre so couldn't really comment..

Room Tip: Choose Deluxe Twin Tower - you'll get a nice view in the evening. For a little more luxury, upgrade to suite twin tower.

Conveniently located by the Petronas Twin Towers. If you have chosen a room looking at the towers it is a great sight at night.
we arrived tired from a flight from the UK and were immediately made welcome and comfortable by the Traders team. They were all so friendly and helpful. My goodness if only those in the uk could manage to be as good. Breakfasts were good with a wide choice to cater for most tastes and nationalities. We were staying three nights and enjoyed the afternoon tea and early evening drinks. They were very generous and no need to over do it. It was a stay to be remembered and one to be repeated

We loved our experience at the Traders Hotel. For a modest fee, we upgraded and got access to the lounge and a view of the Petronas Towers. The view was more than worth the fee. As said, it was our honeymoon, and the staff at check-in did all they could to assure that we were made to feel special. We will happily stay there again. Also, the breakfast was out of this world amazing!

Room Tip: Get the upgrade!

Dear JMCN_86

Thank you for taking the time to review us on TripAdvisor.

Firstly, a heartiest congratulations on your marriage and thank you for choosing us as your choice hotel while in KL celebrating your honeymoon. Happy to know that you took the upgrade, the view and benefits provided is indeed value-for-money, if not worth more than what you pay for. Our chefs will most certainly be happy to know of your compliment too.

Thank you once again for your kind words.
