Traders' Hotel is a great place to rest and relax if you're shopping or attending an event at the KL Convention Centre. It's also really convenient if you're planning on using the Kelana Jaya LRT line as there's one in KLCC. Rooms are large and comfortable, with plenty of great amenities. WiFi and Internet LAN cables are also available, and the speeds are very decent.

Room tip: Book early if you can and keep your eye out for the MATTA fair period. Usually they'll give you great discounts on rooms then.

Location was average.A good 10 to 15 minute walk to shops, entertainment and food. The buggy service to KLCC helps.

Not used to check-in being on a higher floor.
"Lobby" had a desk for concierge service an another for promoting restaurant services.
Staff managing both were'nt too customer oriented.
Overall customer service was lacking.A ver "cold" hotel in that regard.

A must visit is the Sky Bar especially in the evenings for an impeccable view of the Twin Towers

Room tip: Choose one with a view of the Petronas Towers

Traders is located next to a nice park in the middle of the city KLCC ver convenient. Good outlook rooms are well maintained and adequate, breakfast has a good selection of various cuisines. Restaurant upstairs in nice and skybar is great for a swim during the day or a cocktail at night.

I like the Traders Hotel Club Room. You pay little more than regular room but the benefit is great. I usually stay in Traders Hotel when available. The Club room opens practically all day until 11 p.m. and you can have breakfast, and light lunch and dinner (all free). This hotel has a golf cart to take you to Petronas Tower or walk about 10 minutes through the beautiful park to go to the tower and shopping mall. It is very centrally located and clean. The staff are exceptionally friendly and courtious. Just do not use the hotel spa. It is way overpriced. Use outside spa for 1/5th of the hotel spa. The breakfast buffet spread in the main dinning room was impressive. You can have all kinds of dish, western, Malaysian, Japanese and even Korean kimchee (fermented cabbage) in the morning. I liked noodle soup with all the ingredients I selected (custom made). I also liked lux, Japanese clam soup, tropical fruits. About airport transport. You can take the blue taxi from the hotel taxi stand (RM140 or $47 US) or ask hotel concierge to get a budget taxi for RM 100 ($33). In Malaysia when you need a taxi, take any taxi with meter other tahn blue taxi which starts higher price in the meter. Reminds me of Korean taxi. If you take a black taxi in Seoul, it cost you almost double than any other taxi.

Room tip: You can ask a room facing the park with Petronas view.

I had the good luck to stay at The Traders hotel in kuala Lumpur but the unfortunate luck of being mugged the same day I arrived . The hotel were amazing in every way and could not have been more helpful during my stay there .
The view from the rooms of the towers is awesome and the breakfast buffet in the morning is immense .. so much choice . I found the rooms to be very clean and spacious and the actual position of the hotel is great for shopping and seeing Kuala Lumpur .Would recommend time and time again .

Room tip: Get a room with a view of the towers its worth it ... if you're a female solo travel be very aware of where you can and cannot go by yourself .
