“5 nights, good experience”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 8, 2012

We stayed 5 nights, and really enjoyed ourselves. Good a double room without a window, which meant longer sleep due to the lack of daylight and noise from usually busy market on Jalan Petaling. Extremely friendly staff greeted us at 3 AM, when we got there from the airport and remain helpful throughout our stay. The rooms are small, but clean and comfortable. The bathrooms have everything needed, including hot showers. The hotel is in the middle of Chinatown, just five minutes walk from Pasar Seni LRT station (train). It will be our hotel of choice, next time we go to Kuala Lumpur!

We stayed here for a 1 night stopover. Wanted to be in chinatown, so the hotel was great for location. Access to the hotel can be difficult after 3pm if you have lots of luggage, as the market stalls open, and the streets can get busy with people.
There are steps up into the lobby, which can again be a struggle with luggage (especially when you are a gentleman and carry all the bags!) but lifts once inside to the rooms.
The lobby was fine, check in was fine.
Our room was ok. Fairly small, worn, but clean. There are water jugs in room, and you can get drinking water from 1 of the levels. We could hear lots of talking coming from the air vent in the ceiling, not sure if it was from next door, above or a collection of rooms. Could also hear people coming home in the early hours through the corridors. And im sure they could hear us when we checked out at 6am!!
You get what you pay for, and this was just what we were looking for, cheap, clean, close to china town and the train system.

Chinatown was the first place we visited, immediately after hotel check in a few of us decided to visit Chinatown mid afternoon. Not the best time to visit during the heat of the afternoon, a smarter decision would have been the evening - Cool Air, Colorful Lights!

It was a nice and clean hotel and i had a room without a window. Breakfast is just around the corner. Nice staff and in located in the middle of China Town! It's worth the money!

Great hotel. Rooms are clean & comfortable. Situated inside China Town so shopping is everywhere. Close to LTR stations Pasar Seni, Maharajalela (monorail) and Plaza Rakyat.

Clean room, competitive price considering what's around, and very quiet. We weren't able to hear any street noise, so sleeping even when the streets are swamped with people was no issue. Bed was pretty decent.

Really enjoyable stay due to the amazing value of this hotel. The location was absolutely great for exploring the famous night market and the rest of China Town. It's also a 5 minute walk to the nearest train station Pasar Seni which is really convenient. The staff were friendly and helpful. Our room was spacious with a good bathroom. The hostel doesn't a great number of facilities, but all you need is nearby anyway. I would definitely recommend this Hotel for people on a budget but that still want a hotel, rather than hostel experience.
