Owner description: Celebrate Malaysia’s Indian heritage by poking around the temples and markets of Little India, Brickfields neighborhood.

Little India is one of the overrated tourist attractions in KL. Sure, there are some indian restaurants around, but I guess if you didn't know, you would see it just as one of KL's many similar neighbourhoods. A couple of small temples complete the area.

Stepping into the markets of little India and you are hit by the colours! Saris, traditional dress, decorations, jewellery. You can find anything you could imagine one could see in India, and then some. It is just like viditing a market in India. Even the prices are fantastic. Enjoy!

All my excitement was dashed with a crowded Little India. Did not find a single item that was suitable. However dinner at one of the recommended restuarants was the only saving grace for a wasted afternoon.

Had a great couple of hours here. Had delicious dosai at a small restaurant filled with locals and got beautiful henna done for 10RM.

It's a place where you can get Indian foods - some came form India too) as well as clothing especially this place is packed during Deepavali time. There is a fountain for photo taking and was build for the India PM to open ceremony. Can be a jam area but easily accessible by LRT or Monorial
