When I went there, i totally forgot that its not INDIA. The place is full of indian people and indian items. You can get the glimps of india if you have never been there by just pay a visit to this place.

“Not worth the trip”
2 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 16, 2013

I visited Little India in the evening and is was almost abandoned. The atmosphere was limited and did not see very much India of this place.

Will come again in the daytime and see if this makes a difference, but so for my experience was not great.

“The place to be for Indian clothings and food.”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 13, 2013

I've been to Little India(Brickfields) many times during my past visits to KL. But this time, I was really amazed to see how they have developed it with nice decorative arches and colorful decorations. Now it really feels and shows the true Indian color and culture with beautiful decorations. As usual, there are lots of Indian clothing shops and restaurants. Variety of foods and clothes. Lots to chose from. You can't ask for a better place to do shopping for Indian clothes and jewelleries for all the tourists. Very nice place to be. Its worth the visit both for shopping and dining of some of the finest Indian food. I will definitely visit Little India every time I visit KL just to feel the culture and ambiance. Awesome place to be.

“Little India away from India”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 13, 2013

it is a very emotional and pleasant feeling to move around little India.lot of hustle & bustle , shops full of Indian items like sarees, Indian spices , Indian Food & Indian jewellery . We visited Just before Dipawali , so lot of rush , But we enjoyed every moment of time spend there. We eat South Indian Food , Shopping is quite reasonable. Very Near to China town, another shopping Hub for economical shoppers.

“Frenetic Atmosphere”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 9, 2013

We visited just before the start of the Hindu Deepavali celebrations and it was a frenetic feeling full of loud music, food aromas, merchandise sales and decorations preparing for the carnival. As you walked around the music from one vendor to the next became louder as if they were trying to out do each other. Ordinarily this area is busy and colourful and would be a must see at night time when the array of lights take over. An interesting contrast to Chinatown but a valuable component of the KL experience and culture of the city. Probably the busiest place in the city and well worth a visit early morning and evening. The visit is more about food and culture as opposed to shopping.
