Like several others, we made our trip to this nice garden by the HO-HO bus. It was nice and quiet when we were there on a Sunday morning and the flowers were in full bloom. Prior to this visit, I did not expect that hibiscus comes in different shades.
There is a toilet over there available for visitors and some mosquito repellent would be useful, esp. travelling with children

Beautiful flora, all arranged in an exquisite manner, giving nature flaunt their beauty in their own way. Given the nature of the hot climate of the given geographical area, these gardens showcase the best of local flowers, and selected "imported" palm trees, wild ferns and the such.

Entrance is open to the public. A must see for floral designers, landscapers, nature lovers and photographers.

The Hibiscus garden is a small part of the Lake Gardens complex, adjoining the somewhat spectacular orchid gardens.Depart the HOHO bus at the Orchid Gardens or Stop #14.
It is also a bit of a walk from Chinatown/KL Sentral area or you could just take a city taxi.
Opposite the Bird Park it is open 9-6 and the fee is free weekdays and 1 MYR on Sunday and Public Holidays.
There are plenty of places to sit, relax and admire the hibiscus' and learn of their part in Malaysian cultural history and heritage,as well.
All of these gardens are a godsend for their cleanliness and care although the hibiscus gardens are but a small part of the overall gardens, they are also interesting, informative and beautiful.Enjoy it,as I did.

We went to the orchid gardens in Singapore which were spectacular, so just found the visit here ok. There were plenty of orchids and a few hibiscus bushes, a nice fountain and gazebo. Also the shop although small had some nice well priced souvenirs. I think the gardens might be better during certain months of the year. Free admisiion and worth a visit if you are doing the bird Park and Butterfly Park which we did on the same day as you can walk from one to the other. You could spend a pleasant hour here, and is a nice retreat from the city.
