what yiou get here depends on what u require, if you are a shop holic and want to buy things at cheapo prices then u can get them in night after 9 pm and if u want branded items u have pavilion mall and fahrenheit mall and many other malls.the only thing is that cheaper prices are cubjeect to yiour bargainig skills and u acn get any kind of food in this streets or in pavilion mall also.lots of currency exchanges which give good rates make your life easy. need to see this area after 9 pm as most of hush begins after this time. but u also need to be beware of your pockets and money purse as there is every chance that some one else might be interested to shop with your money.

This is a big shopping district. It compromises of newer shopping centers, older shops, street malls, cafes and restaurants. Its good to go through and have a look around, although there is nothing special here. Just depends on how much you like shopping and what you are after.

loved the area, people, shopping malls and restaurants. Some excellent quality food for such a cheap price. Would surely visit again.

We were around 15 persons traveling on a group trip to KL, on 31st August 2013 at 10:30 AM we were walking from "My Hotel" on Bukit Bintang for watching the Malaysia day parade, a guy wearing a helmet on a bike dashed in to one of the ladies in our group and snatched a gold chain in a fraction of a second and speed away, by the time the lady shouted, the bike was not seen, he was so fast that no one noticed the number or bike, this happened just in front of the China Maternity hospital on broad day light, tried to complain to police but they said it is a common incident that happens very often to tourists in KL. Very sad that Malaysian government is not taking any actin to control such incidents in spite of depending on the tourism. We heard a similar incident from another just a day before on the same road. Malaysian gvt, please take same action.

Bukit Bintan is ike downtown of malaysia. Best to shop and eat when you have couple of hours free time at the city. It has mix of street shopping as well as boutique shopping. If you have a layover at Kuala Lumpur for a few hrs transiting through another city, this is the best place to go and feel the city.
