Wow, what a nice and an amazing place to be in with many butterflies flying all around me...
I spent there around 2 hours. It was an unforgettable experience.

never been to a butterfly conservatory before. this was very large. They fly all around you. thousands of them. The grounds are gorgeous too...relaxing to sit on a bench and listen to water flowing. The museum at the end of the visit has lots of gigantic bugs, some dead but many living. There are a lot of gigantic creepy crawlies in Malaysia: come see them behind glass where they belong, ha ha! Take a taxi since I was warned by my hotel and by staff at the park that it is not safe to walk in the surrounding park area solo. too bad! The taxis in KL can be a hassle too. But once you get to the butterfly park, relax and enjoy. I saw this and the bird park in one day and it really filled up my day with colour and the wonder of nature!

If you are visiting Bird Park, Butterfly park is only 15 minutes walk, so worth visiting. You don't need a lot of time as it is not a big park, but you can see number of butterfly, turtles, fishes, scorpions, insects and educational exhibition. We expected more butterfly varieties and in bigger quantities, but were not dissapointed.

Entry was 20 each an we spent a couple of hours here. Good selection of butterfly's in the park. Well laid out.

Watch out for the taxi drivers overcharging when you leave. Walk down the road a little a flag one down. Half the price. I don't know why the taxis are not controlled more.

It's educational, interesting and great for the kids. There is an impressive, albeit a bit creepy bigs museum at the end of the butterfly park. Just be careful of the taxies at the exit. They turn off their meters and try to double the actual cost of the fare. It's worth walking 100 meters from the butterfly park to hail a legit taxi
