“Quiet Calm in a busy city”
Reviewed March 20, 2014 via mobile

I always enjoy coming to the museum when visiting KL. It is quiet, calm and air conditioned. Entry costs RM14. It is open from 10am to 6pm. The special exhibition on currently is the Contemporary Muslim Calligraphy. My favourites are the models in the Architectural Gallery and then the textiles and jewelery. There is even a story about Muslims in the Australian outback. The museum shop has some lovely Malaysian souvenirs as well. Enjoy.

“Beautiful variety of items”
Reviewed March 20, 2014

This was my favorite place we visited in KL. Everything is beautiful: paintings, woodwork, plates, vases, clothing, textiles, books, furniture. A highlight for me was the room filled with models of mosques around the world.

We also enjoyed the cafe and gift shop. This museum is definitely a must see!

“Fabulous!”

Well worth the visit.

Stunning art work, friendly staff (happy to explain the galeery or the pieces to you) and they offer rather good reading material for free.
