“Educational about Islam”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 18, 2013

The models of the mosques around the world was informative about early years of Islam. The prototype of the chinese mosque caught my attention. It was constructed when Islam was still new. The old Quran and Hadeeth books are kept here. Artefacts of muslim rulers are also displayed here. It is close to national [blue] mosque.

“Amazing artefacts”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 15, 2013

Easy to get there and well worth the effort. Close to a whole bunch of other things to do as well. The museum collection is stunningly beautiful and as it is not too large yet can get around it quickly if you want but the quality is unbelievable.

“Islamic beauty”

As westerners with a Christian heritage this museum was both beautiful and informative. Particularly enjoyed the models of mosques from around the world.

“beautiful and huge”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 9, 2013

This white, mosque style building offers several floors displaying artefacts of Islamic history across the world, and in Malaysia. One whole section has models of mosques in different parts of the world, explaining the main styles. Clothing, korans, script, and the building itself are a triumph of respect and pride. Fascinating. Even for a non-believer.
