“Star Trek Exhibition”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 27, 2013 via mobile

This is not my first trip to the National Science Center. Previous experience was not good. Many exhibits were either faulty or damage.
We returned to the science center again due to a temporary exhibition: Star Trek. I though my children would be interested, although they're not really a fan of Star Trek. Me however was excited :)
Upon entering the science center, I noticed that many exhibits and equipment looks new. Two new indoor playgrounds were added for children to enjoy. Although one of the ball pit were closed for unknown reason. It seems the whole exhibition area has gone through some renovations and I'm glad this has been done. My 8 yr old son was very exited with all those experiments, and my 3 yr old daughter enjoy herself very much on the playground. However I still found some exhibits non functioning, some were labeled "under repair"; some were just left spoilt and not labeled.
The Star Trek Exhibition was very good and definitely worth a visit. Although I have only watched The Next Generation series, yet I spent lot of time reading the detail of each exhibit. It's really excited seeing all those gadgets like tablets (back in 80's) came into reality today.
I'm glad that National Science Center management took this step to invest in The Star Trek Exhibition. This is definitely the right direction and I'm looking forward for more high quality exhibitions in the future, even paying extra is worth it.
Well done!

It is the only one building in town besides in KLCC, demonstrating creativity through science & technologies. Don't miss it. Children will impress much!

“Need more interesting exhibits”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 24, 2012

Quite interesting place for childrens, but still many shortcomings. Need more interactive exhibits and materials. A lot of items are not properly maintained and does not work.
The location also quite remote and difficult to get transport to go there

Ticket : Adult RM6 , Children RM3

“Great place to visit with children”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 21, 2012

I've been here for Dinosaur's Live Exhibition recently. It tooks us 2 hours playing with all the attractions before actually reaching the dinasours. Lots of things to try especially when the children are so excited to try everything. It also has a great pool for the children to play and swim. The cafe is located on top of the hill with nice view. The food is nice, the price too.
