This is not my first trip to the National Science Center. Previous experience was not good. Many exhibits were either faulty or damage.
We returned to the science center again due to a temporary exhibition: Star Trek. I though my children would be interested, although they're not really a fan of Star Trek. Me however was excited :)
Upon entering the science center, I noticed that many exhibits and equipment looks new. Two new indoor playgrounds were added for children to enjoy. Although one of the ball pit were closed for unknown reason. It seems the whole exhibition area has gone through some renovations and I'm glad this has been done. My 8 yr old son was very exited with all those experiments, and my 3 yr old daughter enjoy herself very much on the playground. However I still found some exhibits non functioning, some were labeled "under repair"; some were just left spoilt and not labeled.
The Star Trek Exhibition was very good and definitely worth a visit. Although I have only watched The Next Generation series, yet I spent lot of time reading the detail of each exhibit. It's really excited seeing all those gadgets like tablets (back in 80's) came into reality today.
I'm glad that National Science Center management took this step to invest in The Star Trek Exhibition. This is definitely the right direction and I'm looking forward for more high quality exhibitions in the future, even paying extra is worth it.
