Museum entrance are guarded by some old trains worth taking pics...as you move towards the main hall entrance, there are some more old transport including tricycle rickshaws. Tickets is 5rm each for expat, so not the cost to lighten your pocket
Museum has 4 galleries in all (one of which on Toda's Malaysia, under renovation) starting from Malay old kingdoms, coins and old ages in one gallery including wax structures of rock age man
The best one I found was the advent of Portuguese and those era where Malaysian were ruled by British..the Gallery had some very good wax portraits of the industrial development, growth of rubber industry, etc, in Malaysia
Though not a big museum, but still able to cover the Malaysian history in a very smooth and guiding way taking approx. 1-2 hrs to complete the entire museum in detail
Best time to visit is in afternoon..as you don't feel the heat and coolly complete an attraction of KL
