Owner description: KL Tower or also known as Menara Kuala Lumpur, the tallest Telecommunication Tower in South East Asia & the 7th tallest in the world, was built to improve the quality of telecommunications and broadcasting transmissions. It has become a significant landmark and symbol that identifies Malaysia as a great tourist destination of the millennium and at the same time a testimony of Malaysia’s capability in the building of high technology facilities. Located atop Bukit Nanas at a breathtaking height of 421 meters, KL Tower was built blending the tower seamlessly with nature. Bukit Nanas is one of the oldest permanent forest reserves in Malaysia. It was gazette in 1906 and was formerly known as Bucket Weld Forest Reserve. Covering an area of approximately 9.37 hectares, Bukit Nanas Forest Reserve is the only remaining virgin tropical rainforest in the heart of the city of Kuala Lumpur. Serving as the green lung of the city, Bukit Nanas Forest Reserve is also home to an abundant of flora and fauna of the Malaysian tropical rainforest. In fact, KL Tower is the only tower in the world located within a forest! KL Tower is in the hospitality and business experience industry. It offers experiences such as viewing, dining, nature, adventure, event and shopping. Current products and services offered at KL Tower include Observation Deck, Revolving Restaurant (Atmosphere 360°), Mega View Banquet Hall for Meeting and Seminars / Private Functions such as Wedding in the Sky, Mini Theater, Amphitheater, F1 Simulator, Blue Coral Aquarium, KL Tower Mini Zoo and MKL Performing Arts Group.

“A bit pricey!”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 16, 2014

We caught the hop-on-hop-off bus around KL and stopped off at Menara Tower. It was around lunchtime, and the views from the uppermost deck that tourists can visit were good, but since it was hazy, they could have been better. I was stunned that it costs more to visit this tower than it does to visit the Twin Towers! As we were having drinks in the lobby area, there were traditional dancers performing. Menara Tower has now been ticked off the bucket list!

The Menara Tower is a telecommunication tower is the worlds tallest tower , the staff is really friendly and help you the way up up . and the view from the top is really fantastic and the lobby ceiling is made of hundred of gold colored glass which is breath taking you can also buy the soveners from the shops and on the ground floor there is a F1 racing simulator which is really fun!!!

“Too commercial, felt sad to be at this place!”
1 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 15, 2014

Way to commercial, came out quickly as I was bombarded by bunch of jokers trying to sell you something which you may not appreciate if you are well travelled.
I accepted to avail one of packages but rejected idea of wearing their pants (worst ever experince in life).
I felt sad about my selection based on reviews of people!

“Quick and easy way to see KL”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 13, 2014

Easy to visit- well organised. Great way to see the Petronas Towers from a distance. It is a long winding steep road to the parking area- maybe get a taxi there and walk back!

“Unbeatable View after dusk”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 13, 2014

Good for an evening out, choice of drinks or dinner at the restaurant at 282 meters. Majestic views of the downtown. Revolving restaurant is interesting for about 20 minutes when you pass downtown, thereafter it is pretty dark and uninteresting. Podium is the usual commercial assembly of cheap souvenir shops, not an attraction, the food was so - so, price a bit on the steep side, but for the view alone it was worth the trip. Would certainly recommend it
