We spent 3 nights in a standard double room, a room without window but we recommend to opt for if possible. The room is very small for 2 persons but - as well is the bathroom - very clean. We arrived 3 hours before check in time and the staff was so nice to clean our room first so we could check earlier. It is located at Maharajalela monorail station, a very convenient way to explore KL city. In sum: recommendable!

Dear embend,

Thank you for posting us a comment on Tripadvisor.com. We are glad that you enjoyed our hospitality and services at our hotel. Yes, our standard check-in time is 1500 hours. However, we will always try to accommodate early check-in request as much as we can depending on situation. We are glad that you have taken notice of our staffs' effort in satisfying our customers requests.

Once again, we appreciate your feedback and we look forward to seeing you again during your next visit to Kuala Lumpur.

Thank you.

This is a great hotel for the flashpacker. For once what you saw (on the website) was what you got and then some more.

It is not in the middle of anything but, very short walk (think 50 feet) from the monorail station (Jalan Maharajalela) and a short walk from Petaling Street (think fake LV and North-face bags, etc if you are into that kinda thing). So you can pretty much get around all touristy areas with great ease, without ever having to take a cab if you so choose.

Its just amazing an value for money. New, chic, clean, central and efficient...cant go wrong with this one!

Room Tip: No potable water in the room and only only charging point per room.

We stayed in a double room with ensuite. The hotel is very close to china town and right next to the monorail station that takes you to kl sentral in 3 stops. The aircon was cool and the bathroom/ toilet was clean.

The room itself is just big enough to fit a double bed. There was a flat screen tv that had endless cable options.

The hotel itself was like a concrete cell. There were no windows it was very bare. Our room was incredibly noisy. There was a high pitched whine that carried on throughout the night. When we spoke to the reception in the morning he said that it was a problem with the ventilation system that needed to be fixed.

All in all an okay place to stay. Not particularly bad or good.

Dear TravellerJe,

Thank you for posting us a comment on Tripadvisor.com. We are glad that you've enjoyed our hospitality and services, especially the squeaky clean rooms and our in-room cable channel selection.

All our Standard rooms are not equipped with windows and it is stated on all the online travel agencies (Agoda, Booking.com, etc.). If you require a room with window, we highly recommend you the LMG Crib as it is spacious and comes with a window as opposed to our Standard rooms.

As for the high pitch whine, the sound comes from our central ventilation system, which only functions in the morning and not at night while guest are resting. We apologize for the ventilation fan to come on at night and we have alerted our maintenance team to look into the timer system which controls the ventilation fan.

We thank you for your valuable comments and we look forward to seeing you again in future. Take care and God bless!

Best regards,

This was advertised as a 'flashpacker' hotel and at the price we paid I was not expecting too much. However, I was amazed to find that the room was very modern, clean and excellent shower. Our room had no windows which actually meant a brilliant nights sleep (due to no sunlight coming in). This was advertised up front and we could have chosen to have a windows if so desired. The hotel has a gastro pub open 8am - 3pm downstairs offering good food at a very good price. There is a communal room that offers ample seating, TV, pool table, 2 computers and 2 tablets to use. A brilliant little find which I will be happy to use again on my return trip through KL.

Room Tip: If you are a 'backpacker' looking for a cheap room, they offer same sex dorms for a much low...

We stayed at the hotel on two different occasions.I'm just glad that we decided to stay here-the staff were extremely helpful and friendly. The hotel is also very clean and budget friendly. It is also located right next to the Maharajalela monorail which makes travelling around in KL that much easier.
Would definitely recommend it to my friends who plan to make a trip to Kuala Lumpur.

had a 1-night-stay in a 4-beds-female-dorm, have to say I'm really surprised to find it much much better than I first imagined (sorry that I had a negative imagination XD)~~To put it simple, they have what they said in their website~ Not really soundproof between hallway and rooms, depends on how quiet your mates on the same floor are~~By the way, do bring your own shampoo and soap and whatsoever for those who plan to stay in a dorm~

From what I saw in my brief stay, it's a place for many western foreigners. So, if you enjoy a chat in different kinds of foreign English, it's an ideal place~~oh and it's clean (considering its cement floor) even in the lobby, for I can walk around bare-footed without dirtying my feet too much~~ Very friendly staffs who speak good English and attend to everyone in a warm smile, a plus plus for that~~ 10 minutes walk to chinatown, means FOOD, FOOD n FOOD! Monorail station to shopping areas and city center is just next to the hotel, so no worries for transportation~~;)

P.S Do your booking fast and early, esp when you are staying for the weekend, it might be fully-booked (??)~XD

HAVE A NICE STAY!
