“Should be No 1 in this list”
Reviewed February 22, 2014 via mobile

The name "Food Republic" is misleading. This is the food court at the Pavilion mall at the ground floor. This is the best food court I have across anywhere in the world, considering the environment and value for money. There are so many stalls, catering for all tastes, and the prices are mostly RM 10 for a meal. Some better and pricey (still cheap in western standards) restaurants (e.g. Madam Kuan) are on the perimeter of this food court. One can spend a whole week in KL, only eating here. Some other better fine dining restaurants are on the sixth floor. The food court at Suriya KLCC mall is similar. I like Pavilion food court a bit more than the KLCC one. The one in Sungei Wang is no way near these. I still don't know why people go for Jalan Alor. You get similar food here much cleaner.

“Great food low cost”
Reviewed January 27, 2014

We were staying nearby and had read about the food court at the Pavilion Mall. We visited and had a wander around all of the stalls before deciding on a chinese stall which i think was called little wok. I had a spicy chicken dish with rice and my hubby had a chicken noodle dish. They were both delicious, good portion sizes and under £2 each. Would definitely recommend a visit to this food court for delicious cheap for in clean and light surroundings.

“Great variety, great food”
Reviewed July 6, 2013

There is food to suit any tastes. From mild fried rice to very spicy curries. It is very popular. Most meals are around the MR10 mark. Very tasty and quick. Like a food court in that you can order from many different stalls and eat at the tables in the middle. Lots of locals eat here. Can be found on the bottom level of the pavilion shopping centre.

“Variety of Food”
Reviewed May 29, 2013

The food republic is big, lots of choices of food but I found the beverage is quit expansive. I normally have Jawa Mee, Sarawak Mee, Little Wok, Claypot and Hot Plate is good. Reasonable price, lots of workers are non Malaysian, would prefer more chef from local.
A variety of food choices, easy to get a seat, clean environment.
