Stayed there for a day in December, 2012. It is a very newly opened hotel and is pretty close to the main city, but very few taxi drivers know about it. We had booked 3 rooms for a day. We reached early in the morning and asked if we can get an early check in (I am a gold member of Accor hotel club). The receptionist said yes its available and started preparing the keys and paperwork. Few minutes later another member of their staff came and asked her to wait. She realised that they should be charging for early check in and rudely told us that the rooms are not ready. Surprisingly the room status at a near empty hotel changed in a span of 2 minutes. I do understand that some budget hotels dont allow early check in, but they could have easily handled it in a better way. They made us wait for 1 hour at the reception in the pretext of making the room ready. That too they gave us a single room instead of 3, saying the other 2 rooms are not ready.

It is a conveniently located(next to MRT station) good value for money hotel, but they need to train their staff. I have lived in other Accor hotels, and the service is much much better.

Good new hotel which whilst hard to find by taxi is very close to local fast light railway which links to everywhere easily and cheaply. Lovely rooms well equipped. excellent wifi but maybe because new hotel and did nit seem very busy. Good large range of self serve breakfast options, even for western taste- look out for fresh croissants cooked in breakfast room.

Hello Gilly022,

Thank you for choosing to stay at ibis Styles Kuala Lumpur Fraser Business Park.

We very much appreciate that you were satisfied regarding the service you received during your recent stay. It is always a pleasure to receive positive feedback that we can share with our team. I am confident that this feedback will serve as an encouragement to all of our staff, as we strive to continuously improve the quality of our service and guests experience.

Regarding your taxi feedback, we do work with a local Taxi, Limo & Executive Taxi Company which should provide Taxies + Limo services which are available 24 hours a day. These drivers are intrusions by their company to always use their taxi meter. We have since held a number of meetings with the company regarding your experience and they have promised us these problems will not occur again from our hotel.

Thank you again for sharing your experience, we trust your next visit with us will be a memorable one.

Stayed in for two nights during end of year 2012, the hotel location is quite tricky, actually it's not too difficult to find, once you see the Mayflower building, enter the complex turn left, turn right, then just drive pass the One Stop Residence then you'll find it. The hotel is a brand new, will be officially launch on Chinese New Year 2013. The hotel is attached to a mall (not yet opened) and Chan Saw Lin LRT, very easy access to LRT from 2nd floor.

Check in was fast, got room on 7th level...it was full due to groups. Room is spacious not particularly Ibis standard, there's a sofa bed in each room which is good for an adult, just ask them for extra blanket. Room is completed with writing desk, safe deposit box, wardrobe, and fun decoration. Bath room is clean but not very comfortable with the surrounded glass as you can see clearly from the bedroom if your friend is taking bath! But you can ask the hotel to cover them up with black plastic bag ;)

Breakfast is not too good in variety, they serve local foods like Nasi Lemak, Mee Goreng, Porridge, soup, curry, cereals & breads, same menus everyday. Try the croissant & chicken sausage, that taste very good.

You may find difficulty taking taxi from the city to the hotel, as mostly taxi driver don't know the hotel, as it's a brand new hotel, so ask them to Chan Saw Lin LRT, and locate from there.

I love to stay in again as easy access and great value of money!

Room Tip: They don't have swimming pool, but you can use the One stop residence's pool from the 4th fl...

Hello xtnas99,

Thank you for choosing to stay at ibis Styles Kuala Lumpur Fraser Business Park.

We very much appreciate your comment regarding your stay with us. We generally serve Malaysian local food to allow our valued patron to enjoy a taste the local cuisine in the pleasant environment of a Hotel. We have taken note of your concern about variety and have since implanted additional dishes, enhanced the selection of Sambals, condiments for our food action stations (additional congee / porridges & more fruits).

Regarding your taxi feedback, we do work with a local Taxi, Limo & Executive Taxi Company which should provide Taxies + Limo services which are available 24 hours a day. Hotel is brand new so rooms, fixtures, lifts, carpets, restaurant and bar all immaculently clean. Staff are fantastic and endeavour to go out of their way to help you and accomodate requests. On a couple occasions, we found the language barrier a little difficult as some staff indicate they can speak English, but it is limited. No big issue, but a couple of occasions language barrier was obvious.

Room is well furnished and cosy. From what we can tell they essentially have 800 rooms which are exactly the same. Bed was comfortable, they have a work desk. I found the layout of the bathroom a little difficult to navigate because the entrance door is large and with the position of the toilet, space becomes a luxury. Overall, room would be fantastic for a business traveller or a couple. would certainly be a challenge with 3+ people or for a family.

Hotel's position leaves much to be desired. Probably about 5kms from the city centre and at the back of a series of shops. was difficult to find the first time around, however, our cab driver asked at the 7-11 on the corner where it was.

Ibis Styles offering is great though with breakfast and wifi included. At the time we stayed, the gym wasn't complete and the laundry was not functioning properly. But for the price we paid (AU$49.50), it was fantastic.

TIP
There are cabs which wait out the front of the hotel for you and a man (who appears to work for the hotel, but he doesn't) who organises the cab for you and tells you price etc. Be aware, as they are there to rip you off. Our experience is that to get a cab from the Hotel to KLCC should cost no more than MYR10-12 (metered). If they tell you it is more, don't be afraid to tell them that yesterday the meter only charged you MYR 9.50 and if necessary walk away and get a cab from the main road which is about 200 metres walk through the arcade / new shops which are being built. finally, there is no "hotel fee", "late night fee", "traffic fee" when things are done off the meter. On the plus side, you can negotiate with the man who appears to work for the hotel and the cab drivers, they expect this and are generally accomodating. So long as you are not rude, you will generally get your trip for the proper price.

One final tip on cabs, don't open wallet/purse in front of them. Have your predetermined fare in you hand and offer it to them. Tell them it is all you have. They will generally accept.

Lastly, for the laundry, you will need 10MYR in 50sen pieces and this, at times, is not available from the front desk.

The hotel kind of isolated at the back of the building and they shared the same parking spot with the main building, so you've to find parking spot with the ibis hotel sign if you wanna ve easy access to the hotel. We didnt realize that at 1st so we end up wandering around the empty complex looking for the hotel at night. we checked in around 10pm, it took them quite sometime to settle our check in, can see the staff not really familiar with the system yet, but they all nice and friendly.

We got our room on the 8th floor with the view of another empty building. The room just pretty basic but nice, clean and functional. You've everything that you need there. The bed a bit firm but comfortable enough to sleep. The bathroom is small but they do provide shower gel, shampoo & basic necessities. Around 12am the hotel alarm rang and everyone went out and took the stairs down. A long way down but when we at the lobby, the staff like don't care at all, she just stand there like nothing happen. We'd to approach her and asked about it. It just a false alarm. I guess someone just wanna play a prank on it. Not sure whether its a normal scene there.

The breakfast was average. Not so much variety but enough to make us full. I luv the croissant so buttery. Dining area quite big, so not a problem to find a seat. The gym very basic as it actually 2 rooms converted into a gym. Only got 1 stationary bicycle, 2 treadmills, balls and dumbbells. Sufficient enough for a quick workout.

Nothing much around the area. Train station within a walking distance but quite a walk. The complex still empty and im not even sure they wanna do a shopping mall or a college there actually.

Very new hotel, very clean and nice hotel, open late 2012. Very comfortable new beds.
Easy to find food.
Wifi extremely "tortoise- slow" only 500kbs! Must pay extra $20.00, if want to upgrade.
No free parking, guests have to pay coz guests using the complex parking space. No swimming pool. No fitness centre. (swimming pool and fitness centre only for the residents, not for hotel guests). Many mainland China tours.
At night, many night clubs at the area, bad traffic. Cars are park everywhere - double park or triple park.
The lift goes directly from car park to the guest's room. Lack of safety. Night time very quiet at the car park area and the lift access directly from car park to the hotel rooms!

Room Tip: Nice glass bathroom, suitable for couples!
