“Please train your front desk staff before opening!”

Clueless front desk staff - that is the most important impression after the stay. Reasons :
- Unable to retrieve booking made in accorhotels.com website.
- Does not know how to charge credit card, resulting in multiple attempts and finally card blocked by issuing bank.
-Gave wrong room type than the one booked. Had to go back to front desk to rectify. Second room given had faulty door lock. Only successful on 3rd room attempt.
- Does not know how to access hotel from lower ground parking. If you are driving and call them for direction, the instruction given was erroneous. Anyway the surrounding area is still a dump, with poor and misleading signage, blocked access from adjacent works in progress mall.
Other negatives
- lower ground parking is chargable
- very poor wifi signal - practically useless
The only plus point - breakfast reasonably good quality for Ibis Styles and staff attentive

Although the location of the hotel is very near to the Chan Sow Lin station, it is not very pleasant to walk through empty mall to get to the hotel. Of course with time, this will change as the mall will be open and bustling with shoppers.

Check-in was a terrible experience. I booked 3 rooms, showed the booking email print-out and still the lady need to ask for guidance from 2 colleagues to check me in... for 1 room! After I told them I booked 3 rooms, the 3 of them repeated the entire process for the next room, and again repeated it for the final room. They also get so messed up with all the papers (booking, deposit, customer copy, hotel copy, envelopes, etc.). And no smile or pleasant words throughout the whole time! I was left standing there, being ignored until the point where they asked me for the deposit money and sign the deposit receipt (and yes, this is repeated 3 times!). Afterwhich, they just stared at me until I hv to ask where the lifts are (which unfortunately can't be seen from the reception area).

The rooms though was clean and good, probably because it is very new. We have 2 single beds and 1 day bed in each room. Shower room is separated by a glass panel so it's not very "private" as you can see the shadow/image of the people inside. The shower gel/shampoo bottle is not very well designed as I found myself to always over-poured the content. Shower head was a little weird as I would prefer a strong stream of water instead of having the water spurting into all different direction (not sure if it's designed in such way). And don't expect much for the view from the room window. This is afterall a very basic Ibis hotel. The fridge in one of our room was not working and the hotel changed it on the next day but even the replacement was not working. Internet did not work until I gave the reception a call. We also have 2 power outages albeit for just a few seconds.

Breakfast was good in term of choices. Nothing great in taste though. There were croissants, plain bread (toaster nearby), small salad selection, some cut fruits, 1 Indian roti, some Malay dishes and quite a good variety of Chinese/local dishes like frid bee hoon etc. Service was quite ok.. empty plates were cleared promptly.

For the promotional price that I paid, I would rate the experience as very good but if I have to pay full price, I would definitely expect better service and quality. All in all, a standard basic hotel which I would gladly recommend especially if you can get it at promotional price.

The room is good, but its too new that even the taxi driver does not the place. The breakfast buffet is a bit too simple. There is direct connection to the LRT station, but the way to there is still construction work and therefore it would be much better to go through it after everything is ready.

They've only been opened for 2 weeks. Minutes from KL city center. Nice basic room, what you'd expect from Accor. Good breakfast selection. Had 2 power outages though, guess they were still sorting out the wiring.

The hotel is in a great location only a short walk (200m) from the Chan Sow Lin Station.You need to find your way behind to find the entrance.The rooms are basic, clean and good value. A little bit small for two single beds may suggest to take the one double bed. Internet: high speed and free of charge. All-in-all: a good one with great rate, therefore 4 points.

We checked in just after a couple of days after the hotel was opened so naturally, the service level was not upto the mark. They were still putting up the finishing touches here and there. However the location is not exactly near to KLCC but not so far also. However the taxi drivers were unable to locate the same as it was new. We always used to explain with the map. It is difficult to get a taxi there and if you order one at the reception it would be 4 times the normal rate. Its better to walk a few 100 metres and get one from the main street. The food meny was limited and they had a set menu for dinner, which was really tasty. The breakfast spread was good however the nreads were not fresh as it should be. However for the price of around Rm 180 it is a good choice. It has a swimming pool as well which was clean and my 3 yr old daughter enjoyed in the kids pool attached. The rooms are not very large but that is understandable. However there was a sound in the A.C. which was disturbing our sleep, however that might be because it is a new property.

Room Tip: Ask for rooms with view of mountains

Regarding your taxi feedback, we do work with a local Taxi, Limo & Executive Taxi Company which should provide Taxies + Limo services which are available 24 hours a day. These drivers are intrusions by their company to always use their taxi meter.
