“Hidden away, not crowded”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 1, 2013

This mall is not in the city centre, however its always nice to visit. Spacious, decorated with contemporary arts and installations, Publika attracts me a lot. Specialty shops, F&B outlets, new concept supermarket BIG, with cafe. It also have a food court and few bars. Ample parking at nominal fee. Better than many of the over crowded malls in KL

“What a Disappointment!”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 18, 2013

This new shopping mall looks deserted with not so welcoming shop owners, 90% shop staff was busy on their mobile phones and never bothered to welcome and assist. No greetings and they are not smiling. I did not feel welcome at all!The cellphone coverage is very bad , Food court and BIG is unreachable by cellphone.Prepare to be unconnected when you come here.

Brilliantly horrendous parking hassle, full of reserved parking and not enough for the general public. This is such a hell complicated place. A big maze!

“Artsy neighbourhood mall”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 27, 2013

Artwork everywhere - from the murals in the restrooms to the sculptures scattered around the place. There's a lot to look at, even the children's playground is artsy.

It's mostly eateries here, which is great if you're there for weekday lunch or weekend brunch. The weekend flat rate parking is great for spending a few hours there with friends or family.

There's also a Moroccan hammam spa here that you could check out. I also love walking through Ben's Independent Grocer downstairs, which itself houses several eateries.

“Not a Typical Mall”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 5, 2013

Living only a 15 minute walk to Publika is fantastic.
It does take a little getting use to as there are many different levels and great shops and restaurants can be easily missed, so when you go there be prepared to just wander around.
There always having something happening there, whether it be markets or closing the streets so the children can ride there bikes.
There are a lot of great food outlets from the food court to restaurants, you can find something for everyones budget and palette.
The choice of shops ranges from the usual one in KLCC to the one of a kind art gallery/olden day collectables type stores.
Parking can be a nightmare during lunch so if possible, walk, taxi or avoid these times.

“Average Mall, Excellent Grocery”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 30, 2013

This contemporary, suburban mall isn't gigantic and its tenants aren't high-end (its underground floor reminiscent of Central Ladprao's basement) but it's home to the big B.I.G. (Ben's Independent Grocer): the best grocery shopping experience you can find in Southeast Asia. Don't ever compare this gourmet heaven with Villa Market or Central Food Hall in Thailand. B.I.G. offers much better variety; a shelf is reserved for imported vanilla alone. Herbivores should look out for fresh hydroponic vegetables. But if you aren't yet satisfied, grab frozen yoghurt at Moo Cow afterwards.
