“Amazing Rooms with views you will love”
Reviewed June 18, 2014

Stayed here on business and experienced both accommodation and conference facilities. Awesome rooms, with every amenity covered, spacious with flexible bathroom and wardrobe spaces. (Separate toilet, separate vanity, huge shower and separate bath all with a view through to the room and beyond!)
Conference staff were great and this will no doubt be KL's choice for conferences and events.
Highly recommended.

Dear andrewwillow, We are glad to hear that you have greatly enjoyed our hotel for your recent visit for a conference. It is especially pleasing to hear your feedback not only on our location, spacious room layout, view, but the ‘software you experienced’ - the conference service staff. Our associates are a dedicated and caring team and this recognition will spur our team onto greater heights. We greatly appreciate your support and look forward to your return hopefully sometime soon. Best regards, Robert Dallimore, General Manager.

I can't say enough about the Grand Hyatt Kuala Lumpur.

Location is perfect - right in the middle of the city, walking distance to a lot of the happening spots downtown especially the Petronas Twin Towers and the KLCC Suria shopping centre.

As for the hotel itself, it looks brand new to me. I believe they opened within the past year or 2 and everything is top-notch modern and shiny. The rooms have the latest technology including a really cool privacy glass that separates the bathroom/shower area from the bedroom area. The rooms are well thought out and designed with comfort in mind. I love the floor to ceiling windows, the very generous and functional working desk area with plenty of power plugs (pet peeve of mine when there aren't enough or they are not accessible), the room is always stocked with enough bottled water to quench any traveler's thirst. The club lounge is amazing with stunning views of the twin towers and the surrounding city in a panoramic view that is almost overwhelmingly gorgeous.

The hotel is setup so that the top floor is the lobby (sky lobby). Once you get used to this setup it's not a problem. You first go up to go down to your room.

Haven't had the time to check out the other amenities like the gym and pool but looking forward to many more stays here for business and pleasure.

Give the GHKL a shot, you won't be disappointed (and it's amazing value for money)!

Dear Rickyshin, Many thanks for the great acknowledgment. Your comments about the room resonates with many of our guests, the simple comforts and logical layout that one expects when on the road. Thank you for the acknowledgment. Our location certainly is fortunate as we are spoilt here with the views and access to many great KL sights, sounds and tastes! Kuala Lumpur is a truly beautiful and exciting city and our location allows for much appreciation of this. The team and I look forward to many future opportunities to be of service again. Best regards, Robert Dallimore, General Manager.

Grand Hyatt KL is a modern and stylish 5-star hotel right in the middle of the hotel. We had a weekend overnight here and love every minute of it.

The only (slightly) negative thing about this hotel is the unusual design where the lobby is located on the 39th floor. To get to your room, you have to first take the express lift up to the "sky lobby" before taking another lift down to your floor. There is no direct lift access between the ground floor and the room floors (3rd to 36th floors). The mitigating point is that you get to soak in the beautiful KL view each time you go in and out of the hotel and the express lifts are really fast.

Putting aside the minor negative, there are many positives about Grand Hyatt. We loved the unique layout yet tastefully styled and spacious room. The shower and bath tub looks out to the room and there is a unique 'privacy' button allowing you to switch the glass between clear and frosted. The small walk-in wardrobe is pretty charming.

Other positive points especially for tourists include:
+ great location with easy access to the covered pedestrian walkway/bridge to Pavillion or KLCC
+ nice pool with plenty if sunlight so the pool is not freezing cold like some city hotels
+ wide breakfast buffet spread at thirty8

Check-in and check-out was smooth and the staff are generally friendly throughout the hotel. All in all, a great hotel with excellent service and ideally located.

Dear penangowl, Thank you for sharing your comments and glad you have had a most enjoyable stay. We appreciate your sentiments regarding the dual lifts systems though happy to note the unique sky lobby design offering 360 degree view on beautiful KL skyline more than make up for this. The privacy button for the bath room is also the first in the city and glad to know you enjoyed this feature. Thank you for your feedback about the efficient and friendly service you experienced from our associates, they will be thrilled for sure, thank you. We look forward to many future opportunities to be of service again. Best regards, Robert Dallimore, General Manager.

Spent 2 nights in a standard room on th 26th floor with children. Clean and sleek. Beautiful view. Agree with all previous reviewers. Breakfast offers a good spread and a wonderful view of KL. Pool is clean and there are also pool noodles and floats available for kids use. They provide many basic toiletries for free (refer to attached pic). Housekeeping crew comes round in the evening again to check if you need anything. Wonderful service from all staff. 5 min walk to KLCC and 10-15 min walk to Pavillion. Definitely will stay here again.

very good, not the wow factor of other 5 star hotels but one of the best options in KL I'm sure.

The rooms are modern, breakfast is excellent and the views from both the room an the lobby (38th floor) are great.

I was at four seasons Hong Kong prior to grand Hyatt KL so expectations were very high

One of KL's gems that ticks all the boxes. We stayed a full week and was sad to leave, rooms are simply georgious with amazing views and decor.

Food is among the best you can expect...

A best in class hotel through and through with no complaints.

Stayed for 2 nights, Go up to the lobby on the 39th floor and then down to the rooms.
Superb view almost 360 from the lobby and really friendly staff.
As a Diamond member access to the lounge on the 37th Floor was a great bonus.
Evening drinks and canapés and such an array of choice, no room for dinner!
Breakfast was amazing, fabulous choice and excellent quality and standard.
Pool and spa area was super clean and great layout for a city hotel
Lovely room, only negative in the room was the lighting system - trying to work out how to get the room dark at night was a puzzle but eventually managed it!
Staff were great and location was perfect for us - right near the KLCC/Twin Towers.
Easy to walk underground using the Bukit Bintang Walkway, just go down the escalator towards the Aquarium and 10 minutes walking to Petronas Towers -easy and cool!
Great 5 star choice!
