“The place to go for great food and live music on a Sunday at lunchtime”
Reviewed February 2, 2013

When you want a place to go that offers you not just good food but a chance to sit back and enjoy great live music played by 2 guys - vocals, guitar and an amazing drum like instrument from Peru - I thnk he called it a "kun box" then this is the place to go. Amadeus serves 15 wines by the glass through their Enomatic system so its always fresh and at the right temperature. They also have a great friendly staff and it's nice and central and easy to find.

“Delicious meal, excellent selection of wines - inside business centre”
Reviewed January 2, 2013

As the place is just next to KLCC, we wanted to try it out. The place is located in the 2nd floor inside the business centre, and thus not the easiest to be spotted from the street.

Immediately at our arrival we were greeted by friendly and smiling waiter, who was super-attentive during our whole stay. Soon we figured out to be de facto only clients at the place, as at the bardesk there was owner and her posse sipping their drinks.

The food selection is rather nice (we tried muessels for start followed-by schnitzel and Moroccoan-style lamb, which reminded a bit of gulasch). Starter contained only five muessels, butthe main courses were so huge we could not even imagine to have found pace for desserts. The cook, however, wanted to offer us a piece of lemon cheesecake.

Wine selection is impressive, main course portions are indeed large and no complains about dessert selection either. If the place had little bit more attractive location (at the street-level), it could easily become crowded and popular. Now it seems that there seldom are sudden walk-in visitors.

All the personnel came to greet us when we left the place - they were hearty and lovely. Actually the owner of the place was the only one, who did not pay any attention to us, which left a bit awkward impression especially when there were no other clients at the place - but maybe she was having a day off.

“Great food especially for the price!!”
Reviewed December 11, 2012

After reading the reviews i decided to head over to Amadeus and i was super impressed by the food. My husband had the mushroom swiss burger and i had the honey roasted chicken. I was pleasantly surprised ...the food was AMAZING!!!! The only downside was that the food took longer than i expected to come but it was well worth the wait! I will definitely be a regular there!!!

“Excellent food.”
Reviewed October 21, 2012

Whilst wandering the streets of KL, we stumbled across Amadeus and with a definite need for some familiar food we tried the Amadeus experience, The bar area is chic with great cocktails on an endless supply. The menu was a fusion blend of Meditteranean cuisine which excelled. I ordered the steak tenderloin with a Bernaise sauce served with Dauphinoise potatoeos and matched with a wonderful glass of red wine from the very accommodating wine by the glass dispenser, holding a total of about 15 well selected wines. My partner ordered the Ceasar salad, a dish which is easy to under perform with and also hard to excel, Amadeus excelled. And then the deserts, wow the lemon chessecake is one of the best deserts I have ever experienced. The whole meal was a delight to our taste buds, the staff professional and also comforting with non of the usual second seating pressures and all in all, Amadeus is a treat to behold in the restaurant smog of KL. Try it, you won't disappointed=)
