“A good stay”
Reviewed July 9, 2014

There isn't anything exceptional about this hotel, but it is located significantly near Chow kit monorail station and is good value for money. The rooms are pretty clean and staff is very friendly. There isn't any great view except a far off view of KL towers from the window. But that i guess is a view from most of the hotels in KL.

Dear Samsain,

I am so glad you appreciated the clean room and especially the great location of the hotel having access via monorail. The view of the twin Towers from your room is actually a great view not to missed at night and not all the hotels in KL have this view.

Thank you for your compliments on the associates being friendly. It means a lot to the associate team, especially if they have made that additional effort.

We are really trying to give all our guests a comfortable and enjoyable stay. Hope to see you soon.

The tallest hotel at Malaysia.
Lobby is very big, but place to sit while check in is limited. Room is clean but no slippers provided at room.AC is good for chill the room. Hot water for shower no issue at all, but we can see the washroom is looks a bit old. 32" TV with satellite TV. BREAKFAST: basically meet the Chinese , Indian and Local taste (not.bad)

The room price not bad.

I booked the room via online, according to Web site I'm eligible for WIFI, but during check in Mdm.Ain requesting the print out of Web advertisement as proof to show the WIFI is complimentary. I was wondered the purpose of online booking, since online booking design for paperless but this front office lady asking for something printed. I don't know is the management didn't notify her or she don't want know the company promotion at Web site

Worth to rent this hotel

With this price I think this is one of your best choices in KL. 1st night they gave us a twin room which faced at the back of the hotel and the view was very bad. But the very polite and good receptionist (Mr. Kelvin) promised to change my room after 1 night, and he did. So I got the Petronas Towers' view on second night and it was good. The hotel and room was clean, better to say they try to make it clean (of course if you encounter any dirt or technical problem there, few minutes after informing the Room Service they'll correct it immediately),but most of things are really old. Like TV,beds, sinks,Tables, etc they are really old and I think better to renew them somehow,of course the newer things are now being used in more expensive rooms there, but the simple rooms were totally old designed. The breakfast was ok although I as an Iranian didn't find many things that I love, but there were a lot of different kinds of food there (I think mostly for Indians it was diverse)
The pool on the 11th floor was nice and usually not crowded and it had a very clean water. If there was a cafe beside that it would be much better. The place of the hotel as the others mentioned it was 3 minutes walk from Chow Kit monorail Station and lots of stores and restaurants was near the hotel. So the location was very good. Really the Hotel with so much rooms had 6 good elevators, but I don't know why only two of them was working and as I checked responses they have been saying repeatedly in the last YEAR! they are maintaining the other ones!! SO now maybe in crowded times like morning you need to wait for minutes. And I didn't find any stairs beside that so I had to stand for reaching the crowded elevators. So now it is a problem. The Malaysian channels in the rooms didn't broadcast the world cup 2014 games, and I as a fan of football had lots of problem finding a place that shows them outside the hotel.
Overall I enjoyed my stay there, and don't forget that in Kualalumpur, most of the times you are outside to see different places,so don't spend too much for hotel!

Room Tip: Rooms facing the monorail is better (KL is not so clean that viewing Petronas is so important!)

The rooms here are in need of refurbishment, bathrooms especially, the toilet water is constantly yellow I think due to bad plumbing
the tiles have mould around them and the shower head is rusty.
my lights keep tripping out , I have to replace the room card to get them on again.
if you like authentic KL then the location is for you , don't expect fancy restaurants and bars ,its mainly street food and market stalls.
staff though are very friendly and attentive
the Indian buffet is very good,
watch out for some of the prices we had 4 bottles of beer and two sandwiches at lunch came to £18 Ok not expensive by London standards but for KL a lot.
watch out for taxi drivers outside the hotel , we were charged double to get to our meeting, I know this because it was less than 1/2 on the way back , that's not the hotel fault .
all in all an average hotel good value for money ,poor décor in rooms and corridors, basic amenities locally.

It was a nice stay at the hotel with few limitations. the Basic rooms are not upto the mark. The Agents in India do not give the right guidance OR they donot get the right option from the hotel. In basic rooms , no wi fi, no view and for that you need to upgrade to Club rooms . the club room is good enough , Tower view , with wi fi and lounge facilities. though promised for hard drinks in Lounge but they were not there. centrally located and convenient.

Room Tip: ask for a Petronaus tower view room ( Club Room) from your agent itself while booking the room as f...
