I love the smell of the hotel. Great view from the sky lounge. Nice hotel room. I would definitely come here again when I'm around.

2 wonderful nights at the Maya Hotel. Great location near the twin towers and both light rail and mono rail stations within walking distance. Hotel facilities and staff excellent. Nice breakfast with good selection although if you like bacon and eggs like i do the turkey bacon is not the same. This was our second stay at hotel maya and we will certainly be back. Junior suites also worth the little extra cost.

Great value hotel with a gorgeous view of the Petronas Towers. Which incidentally may partially disappear soon due to construction so check on the status of the construction before you book. Noise was barely noticeable though due to distance.

Scrumptious breakfast to fill you up for the day, with western and eastern options.

Tasteful use of contrasting materials in the room - purple daybed, oak tiled floors and the now omnipresent see-thru bathroom - with modesty curtain.

The Hydrotherapy pool was perfect for our sore legs after having shopped at the KLCC mall beneath the Petronas all day. Beautiful setting with bamboo accents, pool had water jets for every part of the body, and there was even a nice spa-like scent in the air :)

Only shame is that the hotel clearly has seen a lot of patronage since winning all those awards, and is a bit knocked around the edges. TV in room is a few years out of date, and the cable selection is limited, and there are a few scratches about the place. But that seems to be the way in all of Malaysia. This Asian tiger has gotten off to a good start, now for the upkeep ...

Room Tip: ask for a room with a view of the Petronas Towers

this hotel was a great place to escape from the madness of KL... the rooms were great... and the bathroom even better! and the views from the window (right onto the petronas towers) was a surreal way to drift off to sleep... with everything that saddens me about the human race buzzing before my eyes all night... ELECTRICAL WASTE, and billboards encouraging profit.... arghhhh.

Room Tip: ask for a room overlooking petronas....

THis hotel classified itself as a boutique hotel, but it doesnt have the finest of the boutique hotel at all! Imagine staying in a Junior Suite room for 4 nights, that is very dusty and illed maintained. The wall behind the bed was extremely dusty, the TV was full of finger prints, the tap was falling out of place and worse of all, there were at least 20-30 moths in the room!!! The room is adjacent to a school and everyday, we can hear the headmaster/ principal making announcements with the loud hailer.
There's one day when it rained and i asked the porter at the door to ring for a taxi... to my horror, he asked me for the phone no. of the taxi company!!
Not to mention also, I have to wait half a day for the reservations department to send me the booking details for confirmation, after i called to book, and called 3 times to chase for it.

With the price that we pay, I think the service is great! I noticed that there's a butler on each floor! When we faced difficulties in making ourselves a nice cup of coffee using the in-room capsule maker, we called and the help come within 3 minutes! I'm impressed.

Besides the lovely coffee maker (for coffee lover, you gonna love the 24 hours coffee aroma in the room :) ), we also love the fact that there's a DVD player in the room. You could enjoy all the DVDs that you just bought from Petaling Street :)
The room is chic! Even though room size is quite small, but very well designed with space fully utilized. The bathroom is unique. It is seperated from the room with a full-size glass panel, with curtain that's control from the outside of the bathroom! Not to mention that there's no lock for the bathroom too. (So, for those that travel with kids age 3~6, you may have to be extra careful as I think most of the kids just love to play with the curtain, with or without adults taking bath/shower in the bathroom). Anyway, I just love the rain shower. :)

The location is very convenient! It is about 15 minutes walk to KLCC, and less than 10 minutes walk to Bukit Nanas Monorail station. You can get all the good food, nightlife, tourism center, shopping etc within walking distance.

Oh, before I forget, I really have to tell you this: even though the pool is small, it's one of the best in town! I started my 45minutes there with 10 laps, followed by a series of Jacuzzi, and ended with hydraulic massage. Due to the hotel design is with open concept, after the swim, I enjoyed the lovely morning breeze at the poolside chair.

I am definitely coming back for my next KL trip! :)
