Stayed here for two nights to celebrate new year and was not treated nicely by staff. Booked two room but was given two filthy rooms with hideous views. The room next door had their tv on full blast all nite and when i complained to reception for the 5th time they told me that the security could not hear anything. Finally at 2.30 am the noise stopped. Was really upset since we had early morning start the next day.I didnt want to use the shower since it was covered with black mould. I will NEVER stay in this hotel again.

We booked two Club rooms and the check- in was on the 38th floor. The rooms were spacious, beds inviting and there was a clean and spacious bath. Although we were near the lifts, they were not noisy s as they reach our floor which makes a pleasant change. The service was excellent and efficient. The Club Lounge provided refreshments each evening and there was free Wifi.
Breakfast downstairs provided a wide range of choices, with some daily variations. We did not get to make use of the other faciliites and these will be for the next trip.
The hotel is near to a monorail station making sightseeing and shopping trips easily accessible. We stayed for three nights with one night free and it was indeed value for money.

The best Sheraton group of hotel in Kuala Lumpur. Rooms are large and new. Staff are friendly. Makes you feel at home the moment you check-in to the restuarant staff and finally enjoying the facilities.

Great location - short stroll to the monorail station where you can get to most major shopping centres.

Check out the Executive Set lunch at the Italian restuarant - great food for a very reasonable price - WARNING -> very good portion ! For people who loves their fine dinning :)

Arrival: Took taxi from LCCT @ a cost of 102 MYR. Approx 45 minutes.

First impressions: The hotel was clearly one of the very best when it opened a number of years ago. It retains grandeur and is well maintained. The bellboys and doormen were all very friendly and obliging.

Check-in: We managed to get a rate for an 'Executive floor' room which included access to the lounge. More of that later. We were asked to go up to the 38th floor to check in. We were checked in (to room 3728) by a friendly local, he was clear in what our benefits were with the room we had booked. There was a (useful) laundy allowance of six pieces per day - but beware - this is not cummulative so we missed out on a days entitlement. The laundry comes back clean and pressed.

Our room: Very large, clean and with elegant furnishings. Bed linen outstanding making for a comfortable night's sleep. View not great.
The water pressure wasn't great which made for a scary shower; hot n cold within a nanosecond.

Pool/Jacuzzi: The pool area is very nice but not massive; this meant that there was generally a shortage of loungers with people having to lie on the (very hard) floor. Food service available and reasonably priced for large portions. The jacuzzi and steam/saunas were good if a little cruisy.

Club Lounge: If you are really into kids (as in screaming, running, making loads of noise) then disregard my next moans. The lounge, of an evening, was over-run with the little mites; in prams or just running around and jumping up and down. Not my idea of a business lounge. The furniture is a bit tired and it could do with a refurb. The fridges were rarely well stocked and the spirits were *scarily* decanted into glass bottles. The food was generally mediocre and doesn't compare to the high standards one expects from a 5 star lounge - especially one in Asia. Lots of staff around. You have the option to have breakfast in the 1st floor restaurant. Take it!

Essence restaurant (Breakfast): Massive variety of pretty much anything you could possibley imagine - or not! Probably the best we've seen. Faultless. Great to see the Exec Chef (Greg) very much hands-on and always around and happy to chat. 10/10.

Transport: The hotel is in a good area and is linked well by a monorail and metro. Taxi from the hotel back to LCCT was 130 MYR.
