When we checked in, I was quite pleased as the lobby looked great, new, modern and luxurious so we had high expectations of the rooms. It was a little disappointing. The rooms were quite large with big bathrooms but it all looked like a Holiday Inn. A little drab, 90's style decorating and nothing like the Intercontinental in Singapore. May be we were spoiled. Not a great deal to complain about but nothing to rave about. Good location but that's it. The Shangri-La was much better.
