Our stay at the Le Meridien hotel was quite good.
I liked that the tables, TV, and other room electronics were quite modern and up to date. I liked the convenience of it being located right across the KL Sentral Train Station which is great if you are travelling to the airport, or looking for quick eats during the day (but not too late at night). And compared to the last time I stayed at the hotel, it seems like the lobby, the rooms, and the conference center was also updated and looked very flashy and modern. It has a good breakfast area (but see comment below), and I did get good night's rest sleeping here.
I wished though that they offered "plain white rice" for breakfast, instead of the "nasi lemak" that they had (or if they had it I couldn't find it), and also that the breakfast variety offer a tad bit more "western" or "international" fare vs. a lot of the local food to the point that I felt the breakfast food seemed to be more "local" rather than international. The breakfast buffet is often something I look forward to when I stay at hotels. Maybe I just wasn't looking at the right place but that was my impression.More
