I was on a 24 hour layover on my way back from Sydney to Mumbai. This hotel is very conveniently located after a 35 minute high speed train ride from the Airport.Check in was very warm and quick. The room was pretty big with a great view from the 21 st floor. I was really impressed with the layout and size of the bathroom. The fittings were very chic and modern and lying in the tub you could get a great view of Kuala Lumpur skyline. Room service was very quick and efficient too.The check out was quick and a valet escorted me to the KL Sentral station and helped me with my luggage to be checked in at the station itself for my flight to Mumbai. I had a great experience of this place and has been one of the better Le meridien experiences. I would definitely stay here on my next trip to KL.

Dear sudhirnair

Wow, what a pleasure to read! You are correct , we have a great location and it is so easy to come and go to and from the Hotel, that it makes KL Sentral the place to be. However location is not all and if there is not service it does not work. I am glad to read that we delivered it all.

Thank you for your review and I hope you will keep on considering us for your next journeys to KL.

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year

Being a step away from the main tain station is not usually a smart move. However, in the case of ths hotel, it is great. You will need to get to and from the airport. Forget taxis the buses and train are great. A few steps out the door and you are on your way. The Twin Towers is only a short subway ride away as is the Central Market - great very cheapo food court. The rooms are fine, the pool is great, the concierge really helped me out. The bar has a decent atmosphere and the burgers are pretty good. Not the kind of thing I normally eat there, but actually the rest of the menu needs attention.

Spent 1 night for a full day seminar in the hotel. Room was located on 32nd floor which was the smoking level. Room was OK for a relatively new 5 star hotel. Toilets were stocked well with toiletries.
The bathroom was without a door knob from the inside. So you can't really lock the door. Being local, couldn't help to wonder whether they knew about the door knob but still provide us with the room..hmm..
We went to check out the outdoor pool unfortunately the pool was closed as told by the service crew though it was only little rain.
Went to check out the sauna and Jacuzzi. It was quite a walk from the lift as you will walk pass the Le Meridien and Hilton pool. The gym and spa are shared by both hotels. The gym spa area was big. There were lockers with private changing area, showers and lounge which was clean and working.
Recommended as near to the public transport (KL Sentral) and the view from the room are amazing.

Spent 8 nights here on Leisure and business. Fantastic hotel. Friendly staff, great location next to KL Sentral train and monorail and great value. What can I say, but well done to the staff in the Exec lounge and generally. It is service like this that keeps me with the SPG group.

Tired after ariving to malaysia on a early flight on 12/6/12. Once arrive in sentral station n been wandering around to find a way to the hotel, someone approach and ask me if need some help, im a bit curious about this guy. Later he told me that he working as bell at le meridien n just finish his work. Even he show ne his name tag. Cant see any le meridien wrote there. Haha. All i can remember his name was kaba on the tag. Then i told him that i was finding my way to the le meridien. Then this guy offer me to help with my luggage as i was carrying 2 big luggages. Then with this guy name kaba take me to the hotel until the lift at the lobby. He say this is as far he can go because he's not in uniform. Ask whether can meet him again. Then replied that he was on leave for 6 days starting that day. Offer him some tipping but was rejected. He say if he in uniform he surely gonna take it. Haha. This guy was funny aite. Later get in to the check in. The check in was smooth n lucky there a room ready for me. Got a help from concierge for the luggage. Have a great stay here even for 1 day. Even there's a defect in the room. But ive close my eye just because of the service i received before. Breakfast was good. Did'nt have chance to see the pool area. Highly recommend the hotel to everyone. A great place to stay with a great staff. Full of knowledge about kuala lumpar for concierge team. Furthermore u can go anywhere n kuala lumpar with train in sentral station. Looking for the next trip to malaysia and le meridien.

For a five star hotel, I didn't expect to be waiting 15 minutes to get to the check-in desk so first impressions weren't great. Only then was I told that Club room guests can checkin on the higher floor. The club lounge itself is a nice to have, but it'd feel more worth it if it was a bit bigger as it gets extremely busy especially before dinner time. The bedrooms a quite small but beds are comfy and the location is convenient near the Airport express. I called a couple of times to the service desk and once no-one picked up (was on the line for at least one minute) and the other time response was slow again. Good selection for breakfast.

Room Tip: Get a club room if there's a special offer like a free upgrade and request a room facing Petrona...

I stayed at this at the end of september month for 2 days and I was awestruck with the location of this hotel. Great service and what a location. Absolutely at the centre of the city, right opposite to the central station. Easily accessible and awesome food. Amazing ambience and great hospitality. This is a must stay in KL just for the location and the view of this city.
