This hotel is located near Local Resturants, Shopping, and Local Attractions( KLCC). If you need transportation the staff will make the arrangements so do not hesitate to ask.The staff was great ! Airlines lost my luggage and the staff took on the task of working with the airline to get it to the hotel. In the short term they directed me where to pick up a few personal items until my luggage was returned. The rooms were comfortable, nice, and well maintained. The pool and garden area on the 10th floor was nice and relaxing. Great hotel for the value, and the staff makseit even better. When KL and need a good Hotel make sure the Prince Hotel is on top your list.

My partner & I stayed here for 4 nights early Feb. Initially we weren't too happy about waiting half hour to check in (terrible flight and no sleep!) but the gentleman at reception checked us in quickly when we were next in line. We also got a free upgrade too! The hotel room was spacious and in GREAT condition (perfect view of the towers too), the breakfast was great and the staff were so helpful and always smiling! Special mention to the guys at the pool bar - so lovely! The hotel is in a great location, so close to food and shopping, and we were able to walk to a lot of places which was great. We would definitely stay here again, we thought it was great value for money.

I'm sure that by comparison with the more chi-chi and expensive 5 star brand name hotels, this one is so-so, but my kids (3 and 6) love this place. They love the great views from the high floor rooms, the big beds, the pool, the Japanese restaurant, the kid's club, the mall across the road...And whether you've got kids or not, this is a good place for a business trip or a weekend break.

We've stayed there twice, in a super-deluxe room. The rooms can vary in size quite a bit, so ask for a corner room. KLCC (The 'Twin Towers') is quite beautiful at night, so a room with a KLCC view is also a bonus.

The moment we walked in, we had a sense of regret for going to the hotel. Perhaps being local, we are not greeted or treated the way the staff treats other Caucasian guests. The doorman didn't return our smiles, the lobby security guards watched our every move and it made us very uncomfortable. We didn't feel welcome at the hotel at all. Despite numerous assurance that we will get a KLCC view room, we weren't given any upon check in and was told there was no note informing the reception about our request. However, after a few calls, we were given the room that we wanted, but the check-in experience gave us a bitter taste in the mouth.
There is no guidance as where we can park our car before checking in. So we just left the car in the valet parking. Nobody bothered about us. Just when we got the key card to park at the guest's parking, the valet attendent rushed to us and told us we can continue to park there for a fee of RM20 per day. Why should we pay when we can get to park for free? When we rejected his offer, he gave us an angry look.
What I liked most about the hotel is the cleanliness of the room. The room (Superior Deluxe) was fantastic, big and cosy enough for the 4 of us. The beds were very comfortable. The bathroom is big with separate shower and tub. There's LCD TV and room amenities are sufficient.
Buffet dinner was delicious, again, the staff are not too friendly. We were wrongly billed, but it was rectified immediately. That made me wonder why there are so many miscommunications between the staff.
The worst thing is the Kid's Club. It was written we can leave our kids there, and was assured by the management, however, it was otherwise when we did go there with our kids. One parent has to supervise their kids! Then what is the Kid's Club for? And the activity for the day is not executed because they said there's too little kids! It's a big dissapointment. Imagine, we wanted to go for a nice spa treatment and one of us can't because we had to be there watching our own kids. And again, the staff is just unfriendly.
Overall, the hotel is good, but they really need to improve on the staff services, and yes, their smiles!

Having researched a number of accom options for our 3 parties (6 adults and 4 kids under 2) we decided on the Prince for location, cost and facilities, and this hotel exceeded our expectations! We chose a bedroom plus study apartment which was as big as a three bedroom apartment. There were two bathrooms, plus another toilet. A huge lounge / dining area with a big dining table. The kitchen was a bit dated but more than sufficient. We had a view of the pool, which we used every day after our amazing buffet breakfast, which is available to hotel and apartment guests. In fact, the entire range of hotel services are available to those staying in the apartments, without the cost of a hotel room. There was a kids club, and although we didn't use this service we say many happy customers dropping off their children. One of the biggests advantages is that the Prince is opposite a HUGE new shopping centre with a massive food court w traditional Malay, Asian and Western cuisine. Also, it is close to most attractions (or within a short cab ride). I would recommend the apartments to anyone who is staying in KL for more than a few nights or wants more room than that provided by a hotel room. We loved it and will definitely stay again.

In the past 2 years, we have stayed at least 5 times at the Prince. Both the hotel and residences. We have been happy enough to return each time, however our experience this time was so bad we'll never return. We reserved a room specified to have views of the Petronas towers upon request. I requested that view when I made the reservation and followed up with an email. When we checked in, we were told that those rooms were fully booked. I had to pitch a fit to get another room with a view of the towers, but the new room only had a king bed, not two singles that our original room had. We had to switch rooms because the first one smelt of cigar smoke. The "view of the towers" was a 1/3 view of one tower if you leaned over the vanity mirror by the window- terrible. All of this we could over look if it had not been for the Kids Club issue. We arrived on Chinese New Year and I don't think the best and brightest were on staff. The desk manager said it was acceptable that the kids club was supervised by fitness trainers who checked in on the kids every 5 mins or so. The hotel advertises a Kids Club that is fully supervised. The worst of it is there are two push doors between the kids club and the swimming pool. It would take no time for a kid to run to the pool and jump in. When I told this to the front desk manager, he said parents had to supervise their children in the Kids Club. Totally not as advertised. If it had not been for the brutally rude attitude of the desk manager and the fitness staff, we could have worked it out. Given how it was, we have contacted the CEO of the hotel to press a complaint. Terrible.
