“Very nice stay in Kuala Lumpur”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 20, 2013

We stayed for 5 nights in Prince hotel (2 adults and 2 grown up children). We had a room with 2 bedrooms (separate bathrooms) and a living room. The amount of space was so much compared to the rooms we had in Singapore during the previous week and we payed half the price in KL compared to Singapore. All in all Prince hotel felt very luxurious with a great breakfast buffet, a nice pool area and good service. We wanted e.g. to go to Batu Caves and asked for help in finding the best means of transportation and got a private driver for 10 EUR/hour. The location of Prince Hotel was also quite good with a mall across the street and Petronas Towers within walking distance. Otherwise we recommend using taxis as crossing streets in KL is very dangerous due to all the Kamikaze drivers.

Stayed three times at the serviced appartments cause I am really very satisfied about Prince with its polite receptionists and staff.

It is also situated in a safe and good area right opposite The Pavillion, a luxery shoppingmall with lots of restaurants, shops supermarkets.

The hotel itself is well maintained and has lovely spacious appartments with one or two bedrooms, and bathrooms, separate livingroom with nice furniture and also well equiped kitchen. And free internet.

Breakfast is good and healthy and is served in a restaurant just for residences.

The hotel also offers a launderette which is handy for guests especially with children cause a laundry can be quite expensive. They also offer baby/ children's care near the restaurant.
And a fine swimmingpool.

Yes I am a big fan of Parkhotel which I recommend to everyone.
However the price is a bit high and can be expensive if you want to stay for a long period, but if you love luxery and Asian hospitality, just go and find out yourself that this is the place to stay.

East, west, Prince Residence is the best ;)

We stayed (family of 4) in the residence tower - a very generously proportioned room but a tad on the tired side.

Service very friendly although front desk a little inefficient (had run out of laundry tokens when I asked for them and printer ran out of paper when I asked for a copy of the bill).

Had read negative reviews of the breakfast in the Residence tower but we thought it was fine - sure not huge - but a large enough selection. Staff are not in command of the coffee machine as I seemed to get something different each time when asking for a long black. Pastries were also a bit rubbery - presume reheated frozen fare. Service very friendly though - thanks Pak Ambil and team.

Great central location and across the road from the great Pavillion shopping/dining centre (food hall had better food than a typical food hall in our local shopping Centres - and extremely cheap by our terms - which made some of the hotel dining venues look a bit pricey)

We would stay again especially at the advanced purchase rates we had - there is not much choice for reasonably priced accommodation for families in the heart of KL.

I have stayed at the Prince Hotel & Residence 3 times and every time, we have had fantastic customer service from the staff, who have gone out of their way, I have eaten at all the restaurants on site and enjoyed all Meals, however the best Dinning experience was at Enju, the Lady who Managers the restaurant, and her staff are fantastic, she always recommends something different to try and we have yet to be disappointed, every time we have stayed at the Prince Hotel & Residence, we have dinner once or twice at Enju, Highly recommend eating at Enju.
I am going back to K.L this Juneb 2013, and will be staying at the Prince Hotel & Residence

great gym and swimming pool! Enormous breakfast buffé, with a lot of other option than europian one, their europian one was not that great, but all other options were fantastic. It may be not the things you normally eat for breakfast but try it out! Very nicely decorated with paintings and very tastful hotel. They did have troubles with the key cards (it was always a gamble whether it will work or not), but they e-mailed me that they located the problem and changed the defected cards, so hopefully you will be better off now.
Disturbing fact is the sign on the street: be aware of the bag snatchers, but it's more to do with the country, than with the hotel.
Great hotel, congratulations if you booked it!

We stayed at The Prince a couple of years ago and came back as part of our honeymoon. We got a lovely room facing the twin towers which was nice.

The service, rooms, and general quality of the hotel is fine. That said, I think some renovations will be required in the next year or two to ensure it stays up with the rest of the top hotels in KL.

The breakfast is one of the best parts about staying at The Prince along with the location - close to Bukit Bintang and Suria KLCC.

First when I walked into the lobby, its so grand then I went up to the room it was so huge condo style. There have 3 big rooms, kitchen & the hall was big. The bed is very comfy & even the sofa that so comfy till you can sleep on it. We had a breakfast at residence lounge upstairs that you can see city view. One thing I dont like it is the service at the reception very very slow. The way they handle the visitor takes very long, with this type of hotel they should improve their service. The location also in heart of the city, opposite is Pavillion Shopping Mall. The pool was great & lovely.
