“Good location”
Reviewed April 1, 2014

A very convenient location in KL, near Pasar Seni LRT, Central market and Chinatown. The only thing I didn't like that the towels had chlorine smell and they were so tough. We used our own towels.

Internet speed is quite good, not low.

The hotel is a goooood price for what you get. The rooms are clean, and seems pretty new. The wifi is free but very choppy. There is no refrigerator or safe in the room. The bathroom is super duper tiny. The location is ideal for night market and souvenir shopping. The staff is friendly and helpful.

I stayed a few days up in Bukit Bintang before heading downtown to Geo. I found it very different actually. Geo is located beside chinatown and in a more "local" ish area. It is not as modern and upscale, but that was part of the charm. Geo is really central, everything is within walking distance.

The hotel itself was comfortable enough. It has 24hour security witch felt very safe and you have to use your key card to enter your floor in the elevator, witch was smart. The room was clean and you have everything you need, but it was not really spacious. It did not really bother me, but others might react. The staff was very friendly and in the lobby you have a little shop. There is no food offered at this hotel, but hallo. Chinatown´s calling at the other side of the street... And you have a lot of other options as well nearby. Even though its located in the middle of traffic, the hotel reach so high that I almost couldnt hear anything. Not a problem.

If you want to stay downtown, I would recommend Geo. But if I am going back to KL, I would most def. stay up in Bukit Bintang area. More to do, see and eat. This area is more like a one day visit for me, my personal opinion.
I wanted a cheap, but okey place to stay - and that was it. Good location in downtown, good price, okey room. I was pleased.

For the price Geo hotel was the perfect fit for my boyfriend and I. The location is cool, near china and India town and distance from the train station and LRT station. The main reason why I liked my stay there was I got extremely sick the second night there and requested another blanket because I had a fever - there were no questions asked just "yes, of course" 2 minutes later I had an extra blanket. Great customer service, great location, great hotel. I'd definitely stay there again.

This hotel is really good. It is very central and across the road from the market. The staff were very friendly and helpful with organizing taxis to the airport. It is also very close to the train station. Our room was clean and tidy and we had a balcony.

A 3 star hotel that gives the most basic amenities...a priority. Small room but adequately spacious. The bed and pillows are in good condition and cleanliness is top. Check-in was smooth and fast. Hotel is strategically located with a LRT station 3mins away...Central Market and Petaling Street being 5mins away. Lots of shop houses and food shops around. Sleep was surprisingly comfortable even though hotel is within busy intersection. A shout out to hotel's WIFI coverage...amazing!! Paid S$217 nett per room for a 3 nights stay during the Christmas holiday. Value for money. The only unpleasant experience was during checkout. The front desk was told to charge us for the stains the housekeeping found after they had ALREADY washed the bedsheets from our sons' room the day before. It was several huge red stains and the staffs believed might come from a dyed hair or red clothing. We were upset that the housekeeping didn't approach us before washing the bedsheets. None of our boys has dyed hair and none of us had red clothing for our trip. It was only after we offered to let the staff go through our luggages to look for the 'culprit' that they admitted that they could have handled the matter differently. We will still stay at Geo for our future visits but will take extra precaution by keeping snapshots of our bedsheets before leaving our room everyday so as to avoid such incidents. It's a great hotel to begin with anyway.

Room Tip: Rooms with queen beds are slightly spacious than 2 singles.

I wrote a review on this hotel and somehow got submitted to Geo hotel in Rome, Italy. So I'm writing a review again. We had a wonderful and pleasant stay at this hotel. The location of this hotel is outstanding. There's a LRT station right next to the hotel, and getting to everywhere you need to go is not a problem at all. I booked 2 connecting family rooms because of my family(2 adults and 3 kids). Each family room had a queen bed and a single bed. The price was very reasonable. The rooms were adequately spacious and cleanliness is awesome. Our check in was very quick. Lots of storage space in the rooms and all the basic amenities were there.A big hats off to the outstanding work of the housekeeping staff. All the staff we met in this hotel were very friendly, polite, courteous, and their professionalism and services were remarkable. The beds and pillows were really comfortable and the sleep quality was excellent.

Eventhough we were on second floor, there were no noise disturbances at all considering how busy the location of this hotel is at. We had awesome sleep. The washrooms are a bit small, but still enough space. The water pressure on the showers were incredible. After a long day of sightseeing and shopping in the KL hot weather, It was so amazing to have a shower with that much water pressure. It makes you feel rejuvenated and fresh. I think this hotel is a new hotel. Its a small hotel. Their café/restaurant is still undergoing renovation. So maybe in the future, they may serve breakfast. But there are so many food options around the hotel for all kinds(Indian, Chinese, Malay etc). This is not a big 4 or 5 star hotels with all the luxury and facilities, but the cleanliness, staff, service and their professionalism goes way beyond some of the 4 or 5 star hotels in KL. This is a moderate hotel in a very good location with reasonable prices and outstanding service. Once again a big thank you to all the staff and especially the housekeeping staff. I will definitely be returning to this hotel in the future.
