It was a really pleasant stay at The Nest. It was cosy and nice. The rooms were decent, bathroom was a little bit small, but still okay. Staff is nice and helpfull. Really close to the main food street jalan alor

Nice guesthouse close to Bukit Bintang. The street probably is relatively quiet normally as it is only a couple blocks long, but we stayed over Chinese New Year. It's only a few blocks from Jalan Alor, the main street food place. A couple blocks the opposite way and you're at public transit. The staff at the guesthouse are very friendly and helpful.

Room Tip: The deluxe double was quite large but the ensuite bathroom was tiny (it's the kind where you can...

Dear BrennenY, thank you for staying with us and for writing this review. The Nest is indeed very, very close to many attractions and places to hang out as we are situated right in the heart of downtown KL. Cheers, your Nest Team :-)

This is our second stay at The Nest, and we think it's a wonderful little place to stay. It's very clean and the location, right in the heart of Bukit Bintang, can't be beat. The internet works very well on all three floors, and being able to make coffee or tea anytime is a real plus. The staff are great, very accommodating and friendly. Breakfast is good, although roti canai just up at the corner is our favourite. We think it is excellent value for money. We'd stay here again.

Room Tip: We stayed in 24 on our second night, and liked it very much. Then we moved to 35, which is also goo...

This comfy guesthouse is a few minutes by foot from the Raja Chulan monorail stop and located in a friendly neighborhood. You are only a few minutes walk to many restaurants and bars, as well as a multitude of outside eating establishments/food hawkers along a nearby street. The huge Pavillion shopping center is within walking distance as well.

The staff are incredibly helpful in every way and the facilities are clean and well maintained. Continental breakfast is pretty much toast and cereal but included in the room cost. Make sure you try their "kaya" on your toast; it's a coconut and butter jam which is quite good.

The only drawback is the "view" of the cross street from rooms facing that side, including occasional overflowing dumpsters and a porch across the street with an old pigeon cage. If you are not squeamous about that sort of thing, or can avoid looking out the window, The Nest is an ideal place to snuggle in for a few days.

Room Tip: Rooms on the same level as the kitchen area can be a little noisy in the morning, as people are gett...

I stayed in the Nest last September. I stayed in a single room for 4 days. Just a small room but it was really comfortable (even the room is small and really match up with its name, Nest). I enjoyed the breakfast the Nest had provided. I felt I was at home with the self service breakfast. Cornflakes, bread, banana etc. Oh I like the local jam, Kaya. :)

Thankful to the hotel staff, especially the one at the front desk, who gave me so much information about Malaysia and also with his wonderful suggestions I made a great solo trip there.

Dear winhtoo, great to get your feedback here on TA. When we hear from our guests that they enjoyed their stay with us and that they liked our friendly, service-minded staff, it means a lot to us. We are all humans and so we all need a little motivation for our work. No doubt, great reviews like yours do the trick and make us try even harder to provide "feel-good" accommodation in downtown KL. Cheers, your Nest Team :-)

We stayed for a period of 2 nights at The Nest. I had chosen this B&B because of the reviews I read here on TripAdvisor. Truth be told, I was not expecting much, but I was still impressed. The rooms were clean and well kept. They provided the simplest of amenities but were okay by my standards. The bed was also comfortable and the aura was overall, calm and assured me of a good night's sleep. However, the downfall for me, was that the comfort room was small. Taking a bath was a challenge for me, given my Asian stature. Overall, since my stay wasn't long, I was able to reconcile with this. The front desk was very helpful in assisting us with the right transportation and directions to enjoy our stay in Kuala Lumpur. I was very much impressed by how helpful and how his English accent and diction were spot on. Thanks to the Nest for an enjoyable weekend!

Stayed 6 nights during Chinese New Year and except for all the noise the first night from the New Year's celebrations it was a pleasant stay. First off, it's a budget accommodation so don't expect that it's going to rival a 4-star property. The neighborhood is a bit on the "iffy" side, safe but a bit dirty (as a lot of the small residential streets are in KL). The building is secured with keypad entry for guests. Shoes are left in a rack by the door. Rooms are clean although a fresh coat of paint would go a long way to improve things. Bathrooms are "wet rooms" where the shower will wet everything in the room. Bed and bedding were clean and comfortable with fresh towels delivered daily. A small kitchen is provided for simple breakfasts (cereal, toast, tea, coffee, fruit). There is a community room for watching television and a couple of computer terminals to check your emails. The best thing about the Nest is it's staff. Everyone is friendly and helpful.
