Fantastic , from the service to the food impeccable. Having dined at another fine dining restaurant the night before and been dissapointed we were a little wary of what we might get. Every course was a joy and really original . Real star quality. A gem of a place and can not wait to come back. Best Fine dining in KL. Pricey but worth every penny.

We went for dinner last night at CGN. We were both impressed by the menu and found it hard to choose. So we opted for two of the set menus, with five courses each: a seafood menu and a traditional menu. The two menus shared in common an appetiser of three finger food options. A prawn raviolo with seafood bisque and a cone of tuna tartar with sesame seeds were both excellent. Soup courses followed: a plate of scallop carpaccio was finished at the table with a topping of a richly flavoured seafood soup, and the onion soup was served with a Parmesan crisp and a light pasta parcel which echoed the traditional cheese crouton of the French dish but was a lighter and yet more intense variation. Both options were very good indeed; the seafood soup was particularly appreciated. The main courses were likened to a Bolognese preparation of lobster and crab, and a Burgundian themed dish of cheek of Wagyu beef, the latter had the meltingly tender and unctuous consistency which can only be achieved by very long, slow and careful cooking. Both main courses were accompanied by good pasta which, by this point in the meal, we understood to be a signature of the kitchen.

We decided to halt the set menu proceedings at this point to sample a plate of cheeses chosen by Nathalie. We both felt they were as good a selection of cheese as we had managed to find anywhere. We had made a good decision. It might have been a contrast too far to go straight to the very sweet caramel choux without the intermittence of the French dairy plate. The other dessert had a flavour theme of rhubarb with a crumble and a sorbet. We finished everything off with coffee and macaroons, the most impressive of which was a strikingly lemon-flavoured, meringue-like confection.

Front of house staff offered service which was attentive without being intrusive. This is as it should be, but rare to find!

We would recommend an evening here without hesitation. Go on. Treat yourself!

I took business guests here yesterday evening for dinner and we had a fantastic evening.

The restaurant itself is well designed, modern and comfortable. We all had Nathalie's "Traditional set dinner". Each and every dish was fantastic, the main dish of steak was superbly done, for Rm150.00 per head it was well worth it.

The wine list was extensive and well priced, the staff were superb, quick and knowledgeable regarding their food and wines. All in all we had a great evening and will definitely go back, and highly recommend that you try it!

This is a wonderful addition to KL's dining scene!

The restaurant tries to brand itself as a fine dining joint and the degustation menus are pricey. The quality though was terrible.

We found the food over-salted and a few of us actually bit into grains of salt in the salad and again in the main course.

The flavours and texture of the dishes were nothing special - none of it wowed us. The best "dish" was the apple cider sorbet , palate cleanser. One would be much better of at Millesime or Sage for quality of food at that price.
