I had a great stay! It was very high standard hospitality, service and the cleanliness...We have stayed at V Hotel June 2013 and It did not disappoint us, we were welcomed with open arm's from the staff who have treated us like family.
We love breakfast at their OldTown just next door..I love your pillows, :). I love your room ! clean and tidy! it is so easy for us to go shopping because the train station is nearby and walking distance. and access to many place. I would highly recommend this hotel to any one travelling to KL. We will dfnitly come back!

Room Tip: Twin rooms is comfortable!

we were spent 1 night in v hotel. we got free upgrade from 2 single beds to 2 queens beds. The room is cozy and most important is very clean. The location just walking distance to TBS, is a nice hotel for us to next destination JB.

Room Tip: Great location to get bus express, train to Southern Malaysia or KLIA

First of all the positives of this place: the room was fine. The air con worked, the room was sterile and characterless but cleanish and the tv had reception.
The reason we have scored it so low is because of a number of things:
wifi didn't work in room (it did in lobby so we had to spend an hour downstairs planning the next leg of our trip)
we booked a double room but got a twin despite the hotel clearly having rooms
Although the rooms are non smoking the pervading smell of smoke in the corridors is unpleasant
Breakfast was poor (its a set menu and the staff were inflexible i.e. change the drink on the set menu from coffee to water - we would have to pay for water)
However the bit that has really got my goat was the barefaced lies we were told regarding getting a taxi to the airport the following morning. We asked if we could order a taxi to take us to LCCT - we were told it would cost RM80. After we asked for the cost to be repeated as we felt it was steep, the receptionist told us that it costs the same by train. It doesn't - its RM11 each by train and I said so. She capitulated and said it was RM80 as you had to get the bus aswell. Despite knowing this was rubbish, we went ahead and booked the taxi at that price as it was an early flight and my partner in particular didn't want to walk back to the train station and mess about with trains. So the next morning, we were picked up (a sorry looking cab with ripped back seats) but were heartened to see the taxi driver immediately turn on the meter and there were signs in the cab that had a drivers charter of the conduct expected. However we got to the airport and despite the meter saying RM50 - he still wanted RM80 - this said with a smug smile on his face. We paid up as we had agreed the RM80 but we had assumed this wouldn't be far off the meter price - we're also nice people and don't want a row over £6 to spoil our day but I hate unfairness and taxi drivers and their inflated prices epitomise it. I wish the driver hadn't put the meter on so we didn't actually know how much it should cost. I clearly feel that there is some sort of staff kickback because if the hotel staff cared about their customers and the experience they have in Malaysia then they wouldn't willfully mislead them.
Our lack of time and not wanting to confront the unfairness was the part we played. Stay in this hotel if you want a soulless experience.

Room Tip: Don't use the taxi we had - his reg was HB9200.

The room was small but nicely arranged, very nice bathroom and very clean. The value is fair for the accommodation and the included breakfast in the restaurant next door is a nice bonus.
The problem is the location which is advertised as "walking distance e to train and bus terminal",
the brochure indicates a 5 minute walk. Our walk from the train terminal was 15-20 minutes, dragging our suitcases along what can only be described as a narrow path, until you arrive at a three story flight of steps to cross over a major roadway, back down the three stories of steps, down a back road and crossing another large road that had no traffic control.
There is major construction of a parking garage to navigate along the way. We mentioned this discrepancy upon check-in and were told we should have taken a taxi to which we advised we would have done if their information was correct.
The following day we left for the bus station by taxi, approximately $3 (10RM), well worth it, about a 15 minute drive to navigate the train tracks and construction.

Room Tip: there was no pool or fitness center

I am attending convocation in PICC. I stay here for 3 days. Upon check in i have to wait around 3 hour for them to get the rooms for me. And every day, after arriving at the hotel basically at night time, they don't even clean my room. I need to come down to the counter and ask them to clean the room. Practically every night/days i have to reminds them to clean my room. What the worst service ever.Furthermore, the place surrounding was very dark at night. I feel not safe to walking around the place.
