This is my 2nd time checked in to furama hotel..the price are good...if u made online booking...the facilities in d room good as well..the breakfast buffet got variety to choose..plus d restaurant next to pool..so u dun really see the old building outside d hotel..bcoz d restaurnt are up (dun remember the level, but i think its level 3).its nearby times square..just like 5 mins walk n u need to walk passed thru old n abandon building for shortcut... But be very careful at night coz its kinda creepy to walk pass thru tht old building eventhou u cn see the hotel from there..cz its dark...or to be safe..u can take the road with streetlights..not far ..just add another 5 mins from d shortcut road time...^^ and of course in front of times square is low yatt..so..save u money for cab n train cz all places are walking distance only from this hotel...

I requested for a high floor and double bed but get the 5th and twin bed instead when checked-in, they told me to wait for hours if still want as the request even arrived on 2 pm. Well, that is not enough the facilities both in the room or hotel are badddd. Swimming pool? Closed, Fitness room? Old, the room? A bulb,a plug a wash are out of order. The only one good thing here is the free shuttle bus to get to the city. Last words, DON'T PAY FOR IT, I WARN YOU.

We stayed in Executive rooms for 2 days and this was my best stay in any hotel throughout my life. I have stayed even in 5 stars and 7 starts earlier, but I was made to feel so special there. The hotel staff is very friendly, courteous and helpful. For executive room, we had a separate executive lounge. Rooms were very and we had view of Patrona Towers from our window. Wireless broadband was free. The breakfast was included in room rent and we could have Tea/Coffee/ snacks anytime in executive lounge. Even the snacks provided in the rooms were complimentary. Hotel is very very close to Times Square, a place where all the buses from Singapore drop you. And the monorail station is just in front of Times Square from where you can go to KL centre if required. Cab booked through hotel for airport was much cheaper than the other cab centres. Only problem was, lifts are only 4 and you sometimes need to wait a little longer for lifts. Food was good.

Room Tip: If you want to enjoy luxury, then go for an executive room.

We booked a room here for 3 nights and had high expectations for the place since we just arived from Myanmar where we had been backpacking.
The service at the front desk where not as nearly as good as in other 4 star places we visited during our trip. Thankfuly the Concierge service worked as it should and the staff there where very professional.

The room was ok but not 4 star standard. forexample the minibar was empty and they didnt have room service menus in the room exept in TV screen witch was very iritating cause everytime you wanted to look the menu it switched to other picture. One page of menu = One TV screen that lasts for 5 secs. I think the hotel chanel had like 10 diferent screens and 3 them where parts of the room service menu, so if you missed the 15 secs you had to look the menu you had to wait to see the menu again. AAAARGHH!

Bed was comfortable and the rain shower was nice, also the room was spaceous and clean, WiFi also worked prety good and the hotel pool are was nice. The location of the hotel is ok if you use Taxi or like walking.

Pros:
+ large cofortable room
+ nice pool
+ good room service food
+ well working Wifi

Cons:
- Value
- front desk
- prepare to pay a room deposit (even if they have your creditcard details trough online booking)
- Location/Value

Overal I could visit here again if they would lover their pricing by 10 to 20 euros per night.

Room Tip: Book trough agoda to get the best price, never use their own web site.

Dear Kirtar,

Firstly, thank you very much for taking the time to write to us. Your comments are invaluable to us in our efforts to improve our standards of service to serve you better.

On behalf of the team, I would like to extend my sincerest apology for the minor inconveniences experienced during your stay with us recently.

It is a standard that we insists on a deposit upon arrival even though that the room has been pre-paid. This practice is to secure all incidental charges and provide signing facilities to the room. On the same note, I will look into the room service menu channel as all menu are set at 30 seconds prior to it switching.

We do look forward to be able to serve you again in the near future. Please contact our Hotel reservations team directly so that we can assist with your future booking.

Kind regards,

We stayed in family room. It looks rather basic but spatious and has everything you may need. There are 3 rooms in it. Basically it is for 4 person but they can provide extra bed. Wi-fi is good. Nicely located not far from Times square. The swimming pool is great but opened only until 10 pm.

My family stayed here for 5 days everday was a bliss! Whole day touring KL and some neighboring province of Malaysia everyday feels like coming home to your place.
Spacious rooms it exeeded our expectations Considering how much we paid for our rooms its like backpackers fee for a fivestar suite ( no exagaration!)

My daughter doesnt like waking up early but because of their breakfast buffet she cant wait for the next breakfast!
The next country we will be visiting ill check for Furama again!

Room Tip: Higher floors facing Berjaya Mall is a feast for the eye most especially in the evening, see it for...

I stayed here in January 2013 and spent a night there before heading back to my country. I booked a Superior room (room only) and expected to have a nice little rest at the end of the one-week-Malaysia-trip. But what we actually got was very complicated.
First, we were served by a not-very-friendly male receptionist. And then we had to go to our room by ourselves, and ended up in a big room + bathroom with problems of its own (jammed flushing button on the toilet seat, stuck drain, and leaking shower head). We didn't know that it was actually a different type room, so we didn't do anything about it. When we came back in the late evening, some people occupied our room, which was shocking considering all our bags and stuffs were inside. Then we called the receptionist and asked them about this problem. The manager came to our room, smiling (well, he was actually very kind), and asked us to come down to check and ta-daa, it happened that they had given us the wrong room. He smiled embarrassingly, and went back to our 'problematic' room, and took our bags and led us to our 'real' room, apologized to us, and left. The end. Professional? Nope. Satisfied? Nope. Considering the price and the 4-star-thingy, they have to be more professional. A mistake like this is such a turn off, especially when we were so exhausted from the whole trip. We didn't expect drama.

Fortunately, our superior room was simpler and honestly more comfortable than the executive suite. FYI, our superior room even has a bath tub, which the executive suite doesn't have.
Well, to finish my review, I have to say that I didn't enjoy my stay here, thus we won't come back again here.
Note: To be fair, the bed was nice and comfortable.

Dear FoodVenturer_me,

Thank you for taking the time to post this review following your stay at Furama Bukit Bintang. I was sad and sorry to read your comments regarding your experience at our hotel and that aspects of your precious holiday were a disappointment.

I note your comment in regards to the unprofessional staff & the miscommunication in the front desk via assigning the rooms that resulted much inconvenience to move you to another room . I've also acknowledge the faulty button in the flushing system, clogged drainage as well as the leaking shower head. I am never proud to know that we have disappointed a guest, I am always grateful for the feedback so that we can react and improve. We reviewed your comments in detail at our morning briefing (as we do with all reviews), and none of us took any pleasure in reading your remarks…but we did establish some very detailed actions. I am grateful for your comments and apologise for your experience.

I have dispatched the Chief Engineer & Front Office Manager to review our log sheet reports and training to avoid such cases from reoccurring again.

Once again, thank you for your feedback. It would be our pleasure to welcome you once again to Furama Bukit Bintang and be given the opportunity to restore your faith in us.
