Furama Bukit Bintang
Ranked #51 of 350 Hotels in Kuala Lumpur

Stayed 3 nights at level 23!
Very good view of KL tower and the twin petronas towers!
Front line staff and banquet staff were friendly , cheery n out to please you.
Though not along the bustling bukit bintang road , it is about 10 to 25 min walk there depending on your pace.
When first check in , the Room was a bit musky due to the carpet absorbing food eaten inside but this was easily taken care by hotel staff using a pleasant smelling spray !
Hotel pretty clean because it was just 5 months old - hope it will continue to be well maintained!

stayed at this hotel for 4 nights . Staff are courteous and helpful . Locality of the hotel is within the walking distance to Bt Bintang ( about 10 mins walk ) . Plenty of eateries surround the hotel including the famous bak kut teh and Overseas restaurant at Jalan Imbi . daily breakfast is acceptable .

Stayed here for a short weekend getaway with my parents. We got one room with twin beds, and requested an additional bed. The room is so spacious the additional bed fit along side the twin beds very comfortably. Everything is really new and nice and clean. One interesting thing I noticed was that all the towels have a little tag sewn on showing the date, presumably the date the hotel started using them. Nice to know the towels were relatively new :) I notice a lot of other reviews complain about "odd room" and "small toilet", "unfriendly staff" and "bad location" but I could not disagree more.

The rooms are big and well appointed. Even our extra bed came with a super thick and comfortable mattress.

The toilet was relatively big, with a lovely overhead showerhead. Big fluffy towels too.

Concierges were super friendly and helpful.

Location-wise, it's really close to two LRT (monorail? I forget which) stations and Berjaya Times Square, and is a fifteen to twenty minute walk from Bukit Bintang. Definitely faster and cheaper to walk than take a cab that will inevitably get stuck in a traffic jam. Yes the route from the hotel to all these places is not tourist-y or scenic, but it's really fine. Just not very convenient if you've got strollers.

In all my stay at this hotel was extremely pleasant and I would stay here again.

As other reviewers have mentioned if you are dragging luggage from Times Square or the LRT, you might want to reconsider and take a taxi. It's slightly off the main shopping area, so your taxi driver may be able to bypass some of the jams. Keep the hotel phone number handy, as it's a new hotel so some drivers may not know where it is. There is a 7 eleven just opposite the hotel, so it's quite useful if you need something urgently. Times Square is a short walk away (and it has fast food outlets and loads of shops) The wifi is not working yet, but wired internet is available. We liked the writing desk lamp and waist level shelves to store all your coins, papers, etc. but some design choices were a bit odd, like the cupboard being far away from the bed and the lighting in the bathroom is slightly dim. Overall a good experience. Lifts are a little small.

Stayed in the family room (adjoining queen and double rooms with separate toilets/showers) when it just opened a few months back.

Pros:
1. New property. Everything works as expected.
2. Location was in Bukit Bintang, which means food, shopping and transport via rail was within easy reach (give yourself 10mins if walking to Times Square monorail station at a leisurely pace).
3. Good spread of items for breakfast
4. Value-for-money. At 250MYR a night for 2 adjoining rooms, this was an excellent package!

Cons:
1. Situated behind Times Square. Need to navigate a 'bumpy' trail - families with young children in strollers are well-advised not to stay if you intend to walk around.
2. For a new property claiming to be 4 stars.... I had expected more in terms of room furnishing... it's pretty basic/spartan....

Others:
1. Just showers, there are no baths for the family rooms

We found it to be a very good hotel. New property, HUGE rooms, clean and 4 star. The best part is that we got it under the 'opening special rate' package for less than RM 275 per night (all inclusive with bk/fast). I could not be more amazed to find that kind of quality in that kind of money.
If you are getting the same deal, just grab it without thinking about it twice. Otherwise, still consider yourself getting a good deal if you get it for around RM 350 per night. (all inclusive) Now for the hotel part ...Room....: We had a complete one bedroom suite. The rooms were huge.. I have never seen that room size (for a standard room) in any hotel. (not even in 5 stars). It was a proper one bedroom suite.. Huge TV lounge, a huge work desk at one end, Good sized bathrooms... I think the quality of those rooms (furniture, decor, clean) is at par with the quality offered by any 4 star. No complaints about that.
Hotel:.. A formal (business travel kind of) hotel.. not a resort so don't expect lavish pools, spas etc. New and clean. Some floors were still under maintenance.
Location:.... Lets say JUST in Bukhit Bintang. 5-10 mins walk to the main areas of Bukhit Bintang or monorail.
Staff / Service: ... This area needs to be worked upon. You would'nt feel very welcome at the reception. They will serve your requests but you would not feel welcome. I forgot what a smile looked like in here.. They are slow and rather irritated when it comes to serving your requests. It was a hassle to change a twin bed room to Double bed (I was told there was a charge for the double bed and the opening special rate had twin beds)..

Over all, we were very happy with our stay with this hotel.. It was TRUE value for money

Great new hotel just behind Time Square. Rooms are great and staff are very helpful. Pool area is nice and quiet. Location is more Pudu than Bukit Bintang situated 5 minutes walk behinf Time Square. Overall a good value choice.
