Very nice/clean hotel at a good location in KL! I stayed at Beltif hotel for one night. Visit KL from Penang.
I really enjoyed the cleanliness and the hospitality of the staff (as almost all hotel in Malaysia :-)

Stay standard room for 2 nights with one of my friend. The bed is comfortable and the room is very clean and the staff is friendly. The most important thing is it's very convenience which only few minutes walk to all the shopping mall around bukit bintang. However, for standard room- no window and no hair dryer. Breakfast choices is very limited.

Chose this hotel as it is near to Times Square and most of the hotels near Times Square is more expensive. Booked this hotel for 3 nights in Feb 13. We booked a Quad room which is for 4 people. Upon arrival at Imbi station, we walked roughly 15 mins to the hotel as we did not know any shortcuts and have to walk a big round to get to the hotel.

The hotel lobby seems very nice and clean. However, the service of the hotel staff can be better improved. They do not even have any knowledge of the tourist attractions. The staff even have to ask the taxi driver (which is available at the hotel lobby) for information for us. This is the first time that I have encountered this issue! When we reached our room, it is quite big with an awesome space available although there is no window in the hotel.

For the toilet, there is only a shower head with no separate shower space. So when you bathe, the whole toilet is filled with water all around. In addition, the towel and the bed sheets and the blankets are all stained! It looks like blood stains here and there. Overall, I may not stay here again unless there is no better choice.

Summary:
Con - Poor Service, Dirty Towels and bedsheets
Pro - Good location, Spacious

We were very disappointed with Beltif and found them to be inflexible. We had just one night in Kuala Lumpur before heading down to New Zealand and picked Beltif predominantly due to its convenient location - we were not disappointed with this aspect and found it easy to get around for shopping and metro links for the rest of the city. We had a lot to do so quickly checked in, dropped our luggage and left. Check in was fairly efficient but unfortunately we were allocated a twin room despite booking a double. This was slightly disappointing but not the end of the world as we were only there for a night.

The rooms themselves were simple with no external window, a couple of power points and a typical Asian style wetroom. Minimal amenities were provided.

When we went to bed, I was horrified to find my bed sheet was stained with a large patch of blood. When I went to inform reception, I was accused of not reporting it earlier?! When I am paying more than $40 for a room, I don't arrive and inspect sheets as there is an expectation that they are clean. She eventually sent someone from housekeeping who insisted that the sheets were new and washed but the blood stains don't come out. Firstly is the hotel so skint that they can't afford to remove them if it is a permanent stain? But more importantly, I am yet to discover blood that does not wash off sheets when washed correctly with detergent.

Breakfast did not look appealing so we skipped it.

Our departing flight was not until late at night so we had asked the hotel if we could use one of the showers just before we left as we would then be travelling for 48 hours to our final destination but they were completely inflexible. We could pay for a 6pm late checkout or do nothing. We did not need the room until 6pm and would have been happy to pay a reduced rate just for the shower but they could not even accommodate this. Almost every other hotel I have visited will do their best to accommodate and allow guests to use an empty room if available at no extra cost - we were willing to pay but they absolutely refused to help in any way at all.

Overall a very disappointing stay and we would not recommend.

Beltif Hotel is a good one, minimalis, clean, and easy to find taxi. The breakfast is good enough. We take a family room for 4 persons. The hotel looks new and modern. The location is great, just walk about 10 minutes to Bejaya Times Square. Last year we pay very cheap for the family room, but now the rate is more expensive.

Good: modern hotel with courteous staff / breakfast--not a huge variety but tasty (but the staff needs to replenish more at 9:30 am even though it closes at 10 am) / lockdown after 10 pm (for guests' safety. I forgot to bring the keycard and returned late one night, and the staff, after verified my ID, opened the glass door on my floor and my room for me)

Bad: there's no shower door in the shower area (it would help the maids and customers keep the bathroom floor dry and easier to clean) / no window (but we're okay with that (just run to the hallway to check the weather every morning) / the TV cable reception is terrible (noisy resolution) / 30 RM deposit to get a 2nd key card (unheard of and I've traveled to over 20 countries) / at least 10 min walk to the nearest metro stations

We originally got a room that faced the street and was incredibly noisy, so we immediately asked to move, and they moved us no problem, we got a room with no windows, and two single beds, but that was fine. Room was clean, had excellent air con, good bathroom, tv with cable. Its a pretty new budget hotel, good price for the location. you can walk to the train from there to go to KLCC or wherever youd like to go. THe breakfast is malaysian breakfast but its decent.
