I've stayed here in July for 4 nights with my gf. We paid 60 ringit a night which is very reasonable. There is a nice lobby to chill out with a tv and free coffee and tea. The place is pretty damp and the shower has a huge hole in the ceiling. The sheets and the beds were clean though and we didn't have trouble with bed bugs. However we've seen another guest with bed bug bites. the staff is very friendly and the airconditioning works very well. I wouldn't mind staying here again. The location is very nice, located in Chinatown with a lot of very good food stalls around.

Room Tip: When we were there in July they were renovating the upper floors, so they should probably better tha...

my boyfried and i stayed twice in this hostel, the first time in the dorm, and we had a good expirience with nice staff, which was very helpful, and the breakfast is also good with toast and tea. you can get tea and cold water the whole day for free.
the second time we had a private bunk bed room, which was small and without windows, but thats ok for the cheap price b/ we were just sleeping there anyway and the lobby has enough space to hang out.
in the first room we had bed bugs, so we went to the reception, got a new room and they sprayed the other room right away. in malaysia bedbugs are often a problem and i guess the only thing the hostrl can do is spray the room, as other travellers bring them in their luggage from other places all the time.
so check the mattresses first, but besides from that the sheets and bathroom were always clean.
it is a nice place to stay with a great location in chinatown, close to bus station and lmc.
the staff is really nice, even when we had a late bus at midnight they were storeing our luggage until then and were offering us tea and movies to watch until we left at around half past 11pm.

i read a lot of ppl saying about the bed bugs here. but i didnt get any problem with that. maybe i got lucky?

stayed in a private double bunk bed room with a friend. with the bed, the room have just enough space for me to do push ups. yeah. no window. but for the price, i really dont expect or even anticipate for even a small hole to the outside world.

the place was managed by foreign staffs. from bangladesh or anywhere near there. one time they had their friends hanging out at the place and they were drinking and eating and all. quite unpleasant. otherwise its a great place.

it have an area where it faces out to the street facing starbucks accross the road. really cozy.

one thing though. we didnt have the remote for the airconditioner. so the room was actually freezing.

Room Tip: ask 1st if you are allowed to choose bed. once you accepted it, you cant chnage it anymore.

We picked this place for its location and price and were pleasantly surprised. Great facilities - nice comfy beds, showers, free tea and coffee flowing, free toast breakfast. The place felt like home and the staff and other guests like family :)

We booked a room for 2 nights expecting clean and new furniture according to the pictures on booking.com.
Since we are two Backpackers we are used to basic accommodations but these rooms are dangerous to health! Although the staff is very friendly the web presence promises more than the guest house can hold. We paid about 100 RM for two persons and two nights. Way to much!
Breakfast (toast and jam) is absolutely ok. If you can, maybe pay a few bucks more but have a room without mouldy walls and ceiling, a dry bed, no cockroaches in the shared bathroom and no bedbugs.

Room Tip: Take another hostel.

The most discusting place I've seen so far in Southeast Asia! I would not recommend anybody to stay here! The place has a quite good location but so has every other hotel as well on the street.. and we know that many of them are both cheaper and much better! The place is so damp..! Dripping water from the ceiling, wet sheets in the bed and the smell is terrible! Probably end up sick if you stay here..

The room is a prison. No window, bunk bed, smelly and bedbugs! We didn't get any blankets or towels either..

There is breakfast included but you could probably go without it. Just toast and coffe.

Overall rating: TERRIBLE!
