“Not so much of Babylon...”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 6, 2013

We stayed in this place as there were no available rooms in nearby hotels that night. The price was really cheap for a hotel right in the center of KL. The location though hard to find (since it was covered by much taller buildings), is accessible to everything. It was my first time in KL and my adreline was really on the high for our planned adventure the next day. Good thing this place did not spoil the excitement that I am feeling. There are three things that I can say about this hotel:

1. BUDGET-FRIENDLY. If you are just planning to be in KL for some sort of adventure, I can recommend this to you since you will be out all day anyway. Sleep quality was great. Pretty silent place.
2. FRIENDLY STAFF. Though not so much of Babylon as its name suggest, the staff were really friendly. When we told them we are from the Philippines, they beamed and greeted us with excitement (as is telling us that we are going to enjoy our stay in KL). Wi-Fi connection was great as well... and that is for free!
3.ACCESSIBILITY IS A+++. This hotel is a stone's throw away from Berjaya Times Square which is one of the most prominent landmarks in the area where you find everything: food, shopping, metro... etc.

Kuala Lumpur was a melting pot. There's almost as many Indians as Malays. Our Taxi driver has this great sense of humor. He knows so much about the Philippine politics which made our stay in Malaysia more welcoming. :D

Its cheap and surrounded by numerous eateries around. But if u prefer nice dining, BB Plaza a walk away, connecting to Sungei Wang and famous Berjaya Times Square is a MUST! Affordable prices, depends on ur cravings! Room itself with attached bathroom which many guest house offers a shared one. Equipped with mini fridge and coffee maker. AC werks fine, oni u gotta deal with ur other neighbors. They cud b noisy at times, apart fm dat breakfast serves fm 7-10. We did made it oni once! Toast, hard boiled egg, coffee.

Room Tip: Far end wud b great!

DONT STAY HERE!!! The first night that we arrived it was obvious that the sheets were dirty. When we payed for our laundry service, on BOTH times our items were returned to us scrunched up in a bag and covered in a fine white lint, along with 4 other pairs of mens underwear that were NOT ours! The receptionist and her helpers had several childish, loud and rude arguments infront of us and other guests, it really was like watching a mother scold her child. Then there was the noise, because the walls are thin, and people speaking Arabic or whatever language at 2 o'clock in the morning. The shower was hot, and the airconditioning good, but AVOID this place if you can!!!!!

Location is fantastic as many shopping malls and monorail station are nearby. The room is very small but it is enough for 2 person and the toilet is super clean =) Don't think of using their towels because the appearance is not that good. The room has thin walls but i still can have enough sleep. The free WiFi strength is super good. The price is low compare to others in this KL city. It is recommended to stay at here if you don't have enough budget. There are many food stalls outside the hotel. It is not a big problem for meal. Choose the room at first floor, don't choose ground floor.

Location is fantastic which is easily the best thing about it. The room itself is not too bad comfort wise, but for the really thin walls. The noise through the night at times is ridiculous. Big groups of people in the hallways talking loudly at all hours of night. Don't count on much sleep - but you might get lucky.

I recommend this place for backpackers since it is well located (Bukit Bintang is a nice district in KL) and affordable. The room was okay, the bathroom quite small but clean and with hot water. They also give you towel and you can do your laundry for a fair price. Breakfast is included. The only bad thing is probably the fact it's noisy.
