Everyhting Cabot his place is magic. The location is spot on - 10mins walk to Twin (Petronas) Towers, the rooms are excellent, the attention to detail is spectacular and very intimate. The dining is superb. Small and intimate in size, you are cared for with individual attention to your every need. resident manager Cherie and her team are truly exceptional. The little unexpected touches like warm tea time treats brought around to your room or the courteous care given to your needs even after check out is what treacly makes this place great.

this retreat in KL is a refreshing change from the big hotels in a bustling city. villa samadhi makes you forget you are in a city but instead in a peaceful resort. ms cherie is very attentive to all the guests and she made my stay very comfortable. the rooms are huge and the jacuzzi is a very nice touch! considering i stayed for business purposes, i extremely enjoyed my stay.

This is a beautiful villa situated in the embassy district of Kuala Lumpur. We had a wonderful time staying at Villa Samadhi. The staff are fantastic, ensuring that every whim is catered for and the little touches such as canapés by the pool and tea lights lighting the paths make it a special place to stay. The room/ suite we had was huge with a terrace leading to the main pool and a rear garden with its own jacuzzi and loungers. It even had its own aquarium.

Food was served by the pool or in the main restaurant. Breakfast was buffet cereals and fruits followed by a la carte mains. It was all served beautifully and put the larger chain hotels’ spreads to shame. We had the Friday evening poolside barbeque, which was beautifully cooked and presented. Again, the personal nature of serving dinner made this so special.

We also had the opportunity to eat at one of the restaurants owned by the same group as Villa Samadhi. Tamarind Springs was a short drive away but felt a million miles away situated in the jungle. An amazing spread of Thai/IndoChinese food was matched with a stunning atmosphere to make a lovely dining experience.

Cherie, the manager runs a tight ship and we thank her so much for an amazing weekend. We thoroughly recommend a stay at Villa Samadhi when visiting Kuala Lumpur.

Found this place on the Internet when they were newly opened. Booked it as part of a surprise for my partner. The location is right in the KL city but you'd have to look around for Jln Madge, the place is hidden behind tall wooden gates so when we first got there, I couldnt say yes or no when my partner asked me "is this the place?". I guess this is the only reason we invested in a GPS because it brings us right to the doorstep. The guard let us park inside and what surprised me was that the employees let us out of the car and started washing it. Dont know if this still happens now, but it was a pleasant surprise. We were escorted to our room on the 1st floor, oh there are no lifts, so you'd have to take the stairs. The airconditioning was rather warm but I guess it was because the weather was exceptionally hot too. The bed is a little high for my short legs. There was a soaking tub good for two with bubbles that come on at 4pm. Do visit the rooftop bar for your complimentary drinks because they are generous with the liquids. We took the free shuttle (please inform the reception earlier) out to KLCC for dinner and came back to a candle lit room and chocolates on our bed. The turn down service is one to commend on, Breakfast here is included but by the menu, though you would still have the regular cheese and cereals on display. The pool is clean too and there are comfortable day beds where you could relax with your book. Please note that outsiders/non-guests are not allowed into the premises.

Our 2 day stay at the Villa Samadhi in KL marked the start of our 3 week holiday to Borneo. This hotel is an absolute oasis. Cheri and her staff run an excellent establishment: the accommodation is designed to be restful and exudes calm and relaxation. The food quality and presentation were brilliant - breakfast in particular was a very memorable and enjoyable experience. All the food is prepared on the premises including breads, tapenades etc.

All the staff are polite and friendly and Cheri was very helpful in providing practical tips for getting around KL.

On our day of departure our local travel company let us down re our transfer car to KL airport. Cheri dealt with this situation and provided us with the use of her own hotel's car/driver to get us to the airport at no cost to ourselves - that's what I call customer service.

I have already started to recommend this hotel to friends who may be travelling to KL in the future. I wouldn't consider staying anywhere else. Villa Samadhi was by far the best place we stayed in our 3 weeks holiday.

Wonderful retreat to visit KL. Cherie the resident manager and her team are really great.
The room with the jacuzzi was so relaxing.
Can't imagine visiting KL again and not staying at Samadhi's.
The restaurant by the pool is good.
You will love it !

I dont know what all the fuss is about with all the positive reviews.

The rooms are nice & hotel service is very good but ....

Location-Originally i didnt care that the location was not great.
We planned to stay in the Villa all night but after sampling the food in the restaurant and then the dismal cocktails in the bar made us venture outside. 15 minute walk to some restaurants or a taxi ride to KLCC.

Stayed in a Sarang room - Large Jacuzzi in the the bathroom.
The porch had a small ladder which is used to go straight into the pool. Nice tv, comfy bed, spacious room, in a bali style setup. Lots of space. Good selection of toiletries.

Jacuzzi time is 3pm - 5pm and 7pm til 11pm. Not controllable by the customer.

Restaurant food is terrible. Staff in restaurant seemed surprised when we entered & were unprepared.
We waited almost ten minutes to be served/table set and then had to call a waiter from the kitchen to fill up our water, half way through our meal.
The breakfast menu mainly consists of egg dishes. Though the sides were tasty.

The main pool is unappealing. No one used it while we were there. We did try it but it was uncomfortably cold which was strange as we used many outdoor hotel pools in KL which were unheated during our holiday which were not cold at all..

Woke up by cleaner sweeping the area outside at 9am.

Even though reviews say this is a getaway from all the hustle and bustle of KL I was still annoying by the amount of loud motorbikes driving by.

The manager was very kind and helpful, & made us feel welcome.

The restaurant staff seemed more like they were there for a nice easy job rather than satisfy the customer.

Overall i was disappointed with my stay but with some modifications/additions to the amenities such as bar, restaurant and pool, this place could be amazing.

The in-room Jacuzzi is the only thing that this hotel has going for it.
You can get 2-3 nights in 4&5 star hotels in KL with modern styling for the price of 1 night here, if you sacrifice the Jacuzzi.

I felt that it was not worth the money as i have stayed in superior accommodation in KL both traditional style and modern, for half the price bar the large in room jacuzzi

Room Tip: 1 Day is more than enough here to relax. If your only purpose is to travel around KL then theres f...
