I don't think I can say anything bad about this guesthouse. The rooms were great, clean sheets and excellent air conditioning. The staff were amazing and extremely helpful, they organised all our transport requirements and were quick to answer any questions. They have free breakfast - simple but good and they are in a great location. All they needed was spool so we could cool off from the heat. All in all a beautiful place to stay.

We arrived and were brought to a really modly room (heavy smell and visible mold), but were given another one after some complains. This was the only negative point during our stay. Really clean, nice guesthouse. Nice location, close (but not attached, so no noise) to a very lively street (Jalan Alor?) that offers all kinds of food and stuff especially during the night. Petronas towers & co are in walking distance. Down the street (in the tengkat tong shin) are nice bars/restaurants for breakfast and more (e.g. the indian restaurant there is nice). A supermarket is 50 m away from the guesthouse. Very friendly staff!

Nice guest house for independent travelers. The room is not a wardrobe and a TV, but we do not need. In the bathroom, everything you need, except for the hair dryer. The main attractions of the city on foot for 15-20 minutes, which is very convenient. In walking the streets with a lot of cafes. Metro and bus station 15 minutes walk.

Room Tip: We lived on the first floor, the room quiet, Wi fi in the room. I liked everything

Clean, relatively quiet, located in the middle of everything a traveler could want in KL, and the staff was really helpful. I would definitely recommend it. There was a little noise until about 3 am one evening, but it was New Years so I wasn't surprised! The breakfast they offer is a nice start to the day - cereal, toast, and coffee/tea. Just watch out for mosquitoes in the open air kitchens!

First hand budget hotel experience..very clean environment,no foot wear policy is a bit annoying but definitely it helps to keep the place clean,
Rooms(standard & superior) are too small for families..
Staff is friendly & everything is done neatly..also the location is ideal..bit off from the busy & crowded streets,

We chose Sahabat Guesthouse on bookings by chance with not much expectation. However, it turns out to be a very good choice to chose here. The place is quiet but with very good location, every place we want to go is just in walking distance. The staffs are very nice and the house is quite clean and lovely. We like it very much, will definity choose it next time.

Four of us booked two twin rooms at the Sahabat guesthouse. Turned out they messed up one of our rooms and gave us a double room instead. When they realised their mistake, they kindly upgraded us to a family room, with two double beds. Mistakes happen all the time and I think it's to the guesthouse's credit that they resolved the problem quickly and amicably. The room itself is adequate, comes with hot water and aircon but no tv. It's sparsely furnished with ikea furniture, but really, what else do you want at this price point?

Location wise the hotel is quite ok. It's about a 5 minute walk to a multitude of eateries (including street-side stalls, corner prata shops and an entire stretch of hawker food stalls) and near some convenience stores, so you don't have to worry about food. It's also a 10 minute walk to upscale malls like Pavillion. The downside is that it's in the middle of KL, so driving through traffic here is a bit of a nightmare. If you drive, there's parking right in front of the hotel. The street is quiet but feels relatively safe.

Service as expected was good, folks there are friendly and efficient.

Room Tip: Family rooms come with two double beds which might be a bit small.
